Complete the assignments on multiple projects of moderate size or portions of major projects, cost-effectively and in accordance with contract specifications, quality standards. Highest quality standards are applied, and safety requirements are taken into consideration.\nWhat will you do?\nEvaluates, selects and applies standard techniques and procedures to perform engineering assignments. Provides technical support for installation and commissioning activities. Prepares project documentation within one’s scope of deliverables.\nDevelop the tender engineering deliverable in short time period with quality\nSecure the completeness of the assigned packages and correct function of the resulting substation system.\nConfirm the engineering is developed, taken into consideration the complete information and all inter discipline checks has been conducted, the results are documented in the project specific storage area.\nSolves problems that appear during engineering development.\nFocus on cost-efficient system solutions\nReport and keep records for all engineering changes. Cooperate with the engineering team and agree on the project specific impacts, caused by the changes.\nEnsure compliance with Linxon and Client engineering guidelines, standards and quality across the complete engineering process.\nCreates work plans and cost estimates in own area of responsibility.\nCo-ordinates clarify with engineers, sub-contractors and supplier’s technical issues (within the assigned scope of work) and technical interfaces.\nCollaborate with the site team, attend site during construction phase if necessary.\nContribute to the risk & opportunity register, by communicating observations.\nPrepare all technical documentation for the equipment specification as input to the purchase requisitions\nContribute to the Up-to-date design issue log\nSafety - Understand and follow Linxon OHS procedures and guidelines\nParticipate at design reviews.\nProvide input for close out report and lessons learned, and follow/review lessons learned for next projects.\nExperience, Education and other Required:\nBachelor’s Degree / master’s degree in electrical / Power Engineering.\n10 - 14 years of experience in substation Secondary P&C GA, schematics, SCADA, Telecom/communication, fire alarm, security system design with HV Equipment expertise and overall system design.\nSound knowledge on Protection and control engineering of AIS & GIS substation up to 500kV.\nSound knowledge in designing of control & relay panel general arrangement according to schematics, MCC, PCC panel etc.,\nSound knowledge on SCADA and Telecommunication engineering of AIS & GIS substation.\nSound knowledge in fire alarm & security system design and co-ordination.\nOverall engineering design experience for preparation of Base and detail engineering on P&C, SCADA, Secondary engineering in GIS or AIS substation for North America utilities is required.\nHands on experience in HV Substation Secondary Design engineering preparation of Protection one line diagram, Panel GA, AC, DC schematics, Name plate, SCADA I/O list, Communication block diagram, cable termination schedule relay settings etc.\nIn depth review and commenting skill to review the consultant drawing is required.\nRespond to customer / consultant / vendor / contractor questions.\nWide knowledge on SEL, ABB, Siemens relay is required.\nRelay selection and providing BOM for entire panel\nCable schedule and BOM.\nUnderstanding of CAD / CAE applications and tools.\nUnderstanding of electronic records management systems.\nHigh attention to detail and quality.\nLooking for Secondary engineer who has experience in North America utilities.\n\nWhat we offer:\nIn return, we offer a wide range of rewards and benefits,\n20 days Privilege Leave, 13 days Emergency leave and 14 Public holidays per year\n\nMedical Insurance, Life Insurance and Career Progression\n\nWe also have a brilliant smarter working policy, too.
