responsible for designing, developing, enhancing, and maintaining business-critical applications while working closely with Product, Business, and Technology teams.\n\nCandidates with experience in NBFCs, FinTech, Lending, Banking, or Financial Services will be preferred, particularly those who have worked on lending platforms, financial applications, transaction systems, or related products.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\n- Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain robust and scalable web applications using PHP and Laravel.\n\n- Develop clean, efficient, reusable, and maintainable code following established coding standards and best practices.\n\n- Work closely with Product, Business, QA, and other technology teams to understand requirements and deliver solutions.\n\n- Design and develop RESTful APIs and backend services for internal and external integrations.\n\n- Work extensively with databases, including database design, queries, optimization, indexing, stored procedures, and performance tuning.\n\n- Analyze existing applications and improve their performance, scalability, reliability, and maintainability.\n\n- Participate in designing and implementing application architecture and system components.\n\n- Identify technical issues, debug application errors, and provide effective solutions.\n\n- Perform root-cause analysis of production issues and implement permanent fixes.\n\n- Integrate third-party APIs and services as required by business and product requirements.\n\n- Work on application security, data integrity, access controls, and secure coding practices.\n\n- Collaborate with QA teams for testing, bug fixing, and successful deployment of applications.\n\n- Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to development standards.\n\n- Maintain technical documentation related to application architecture, APIs, database structures, and development processes.\n\n- Contribute to continuous improvement of the technology stack, development processes, and overall system architecture.\n\nLending / NBFC Domain Responsibilities:\n\nThe candidate will have an added advantage if they have worked on lending or financial technology platforms and understand processes such as Loan Origination and Loan Management Systems (LOS/LMS), customer onboarding and KYC workflows, credit and underwriting workflows, loan approval and disbursement processes, repayment and collection systems, payment gateway and banking integrations, credit bureau/API integrations, financial transactions and reconciliation, customer and operational dashboards, and MIS and reporting systems.\n\nRequired Technical Skills:\n\nBackend Development:\n\n- Strong hands-on experience in PHP and Laravel Framework.\n\n- Good understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts.\n\n- Experience in developing REST APIs and backend services.\n\n- Strong understanding of MVC architecture and software development principles.\n\nDatabase:\n\n- Strong experience with MySQL or other relational databases.\n\n- Excellent knowledge of SQL queries, joins, subqueries, indexing, views, and database optimization.\n\n- Ability to troubleshoot database and query-performance issues.\n\nSystem Architecture:\n\n- Strong understanding of software architecture and application design.\n\n- Experience designing scalable and maintainable backend systems.\n\n- Understanding of API architecture, authentication, authorization, caching, logging, and error handling.\n\nDevelopment Tools & Practices:\n\n- Experience with Git/version control systems.\n\n- Familiarity with Linux/Unix environments, CI/CD, and deployment processes will be an advantage.\n\n- Knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, CSS, or frontend frameworks will be an advantage.\n\n- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS/Azure/GCP will be an added advantage.\n\nRequired Experience:\n\n- 26 years of professional experience in Software Development.\n\n- Strong hands-on experience in PHP and Laravel is mandatory.\n\n- Strong database and SQL skills are mandatory.\n\n- Candidates should have demonstrable experience in end-to-end software development.\n\n- Experience in NBFC, FinTech, Lending, Banking, or Financial Services will be strongly preferred.\n\nEducation:\n\n- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology,
