LiRo-Hill is a 1100-person firm with offices in NYC, Long Island, Buffalo, Rochester, Boston, Needham, MA and Edison, NJ.\nResponsibilities\nOur Resident Engineer Inspection division has a need for on-site Office Engineer for major roadway projects in Nassau County, NY.\nDocument control\nContractor payment processing\nChange order processing\nMaintain detailed project files/logs\nReview daily inspector reports\nQualifications\n Qualified candidates will have a minimum of 5 years of highway and/or bridge office engineer experience.\nDegree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field is preferred\nRecent Nassau County Department of Public Works (NCDPW) project experience preferred.\nNICET certification (Level III or IV) is a plus\nNYSDOT experience will be considered\nExtensive experience with MS Office Suite applications, particularly Word and Excel\nAppia Construction Management Software experience a plus\nStrong oral and written communication skills\nExperienced with on-line project management software\nStrong organizational and communication skills\nAble to collaborate/coordinate with clients, designers, contractors, and field staff\nPublic agency experience a plus\nAuthorized to work in the United States and maintains current Driver’s License\nOur Culture:\nWe believe in the power of collaboration.
