LiRo-Hill is a 1100-person firm with offices in NYC, Long Island, Buffalo, Rochester, Boston, Needham, MA and Edison, NJ.\nResponsibilities\nOur Resident Engineer Inspection division is seeking entry level engineers for major NCDPW (Nassau County Department of Public Works) projects throughout Naussau County, NY.\nResponsible for construction inspection of major roadway rehabilitation projects\nMonitor and track project schedule and budget\nInterface with clients/agencies and contractors\nTrack work progess through daily field reports and photographs\nQualifications\nDegree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field\nKnowledge of concret and asphalt pavement materials and construction methods preferred\nExtensive experience with MS Office Suite applications, particularly Word and Excel\nStrong oral and written communication skills\nStrong organizational and communication skills\nAble to collaborate/coordinate with clients, designers, contractors, and field staff\nAbility to work nights\nAuthorized to work in the United States and maintains current Driver’s License.\nOur Culture:\nWe believe in the power of collaboration.
