(GISI), the parent company of The LiRo Group and Hill International, Inc. consolidated a portion of the highly experienced staff of both LiRo and Hill in the Northeast to create a larger, more efficient, and cost-effective team to serve clients. LiRo-Hill is a 1100-person firm with offices in NYC, Long Island, Buffalo, Rochester, Boston and Edison, NJ.\nResponsibilities\nField and office support for environmental field sampling, community air monitoring, hazmat assessment, pre-demolition remediation and construction administration for facilities that will be addressed as part of a large scale Commercial/Industrial phased Reconstruction\nInterface with the Program Management Team Senior Staff, as well as the Owners Representatives and Program Stakeholders\nPerforming field investigation and coordinating and overseeing abatement, remediation, and demolition activities\nMaintaining databases of vendor qualifications and certifications\nTracking submittals, evaluating change orders, verifying and reporting on the status of the work and, vendors regulatory code compliance\nQualifications\nBachelors degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field required\n2-5+ years experience in similar project work including lead and asbestos projectsNYS DOL Asbestos Project Designer, a plus, preferred not required\nOSHA 10/30 hour certification \nPE, CCM or DBIA credentials a plus\nOur Culture:\nWe believe in the power of collaboration.
