We understand the need to promote our staff’s efforts, appreciate a balance in life and work, be collaborative in everything that we do and look to have teams in place that are as diverse as the clients/communities we serve.\nResponsibilities\nAbility to lead a wide range of civil engineering analysis and design tasks related to: roadway design, zoning analysis, site plan preparation, site stormwater management, utility planning and layout, transportation planning/design, parking analysis and layout, vehicle maneuvering analysis, site ADA improvements, pavement and grading design. \nLead coordination and presentation of submissions with local municipalities, utilities, environmental agencies, and local planning boards, as appropriate. \nPerform site investigations to observe and document existing conditions.\nComplete and review design calculations; assist in the preparation of drawings, specifications, and bid packages.\nSupervise the development of project plans, design calculations, specifications and lead the coordination with other design disciplines as required to deliver high quality engineering services.\nProvide responses and solutions to issues during the construction administration phase of projects.\nUtilize a broad assortment of technical and project management skills on projects that range from small site restorations to large scale new construction. \nEngage with existing clients and pursue new clients to support growth of the business in the region across LiRo-Hill’s service lines.\nLead the preparation of technical content for proposals for civil engineering services.\nAttend industry and business development functions as a representative of the firm.\nSupervise, mentor, and develop local engineering staff.\nPerform monthly and quarterly updates of project financials and revenue projections.\nQualifications\nBachelor of Science in Civil Engineering\n12+ years of progressive experience in Site and Civil Engineering \nMA Civil PE required\nExperience in working with various MA cities and townships, MBTA, Massport, and/or MassDOT \nStrong written and verbal communication and presentation skills \nAbility to provide constructive guidance to engineers and drafters\nUnderstanding and application of local code and permitting requirements\nAbility to collaborate with the Regional Manager and other business units for pursuit of business opportunities and growth of the practice\nAbility to multitask and consistently meet deadlines\nAutoCAD and Civil 3D experience\nWe are committed to your success, and we invest in your growth and development to unlock your full potential.\nCompetitive Total Compensation Package\nEmployee- Only Stock Purchase Plan\nMentoring programs\nContinuing Education Program\nEmployee referral bonus\nVolunteer/Industry association opportunities\n\nOur Culture:\nWe believe in the power of collaboration.
