As our Senior Software Engineer, you will be working closely with the CTO, making critical decisions on product, customers, and our technical vision. You will be expected to build and ship industry-defining features at startup speed. We are a team of ex-Big Tech engineers and senior leaders who have validated our product vision at the highest level of the legal industry. We’re looking for a partner to help us build it.\nWhat you’ll do at Deposely:\nFull-Stack Development: Architect and build both front-end and back-end systems, ensuring seamless integration of AI features.\n\nAI & Agentic Development: Develop and integrate AI components, including language models, agentic workflows, and document analysis tools, to power core deposition functionality.\n\nProduct Leadership: Work closely with customers and the founding team to prioritize features and align technical work with business objectives.\n\nTechnical Strategy: Influence the overall technical direction, including decisions on frameworks, infrastructure, and scalability.\n\nCustomer Collaboration: Engage directly with customers to gather feedback, test features, and iterate on the product.\n\nRole Requirements\n5+ years of experience shipping serious products end-to-end.\n\nAre experienced with both front-end (React/NextJS or similar) and back-end (NestJS or similar) development.\n\nAre comfortable working with LLMs, RAG pipelines, and integrating AI agents into real-world applications.\n\nThrive in a fast-paced environment and excited to shape processes and structures.\n\nAre passionate about building solutions that delight users and solve real problems.\n\nAre able to work cross-functionally and explain technical decisions to non-technical stakeholders.\n\nBonus Points\nYou have worked at a high-growth SaaS company before.\n\nYou have prior experience in an early-stage startup.\n\nFamiliarity or interest in the legal tech space.\n\nInterview Process\n30m introduction call to discuss Deposely and your experience\n\n1h video technical interview (system design)\n\n2.5h final in person Interview\n\nInclusion at Litem: We believe that the best products are built by diverse teams.
