You'll partner with Accounting leadership and cross-functional teams to drive process improvements, support system implementations, and ensure accuracy across every payment cycle. This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll have the opportunity to build scalable AP operations and directly influence how Litera manages its financial infrastructure as the company grows.\nWhat You'll Deliver\nOversee end-to-end accounts payable operations, ensuring vendor invoices and payments are processed accurately and on time.\nDrive AP process improvements by identifying inefficiencies and implementing scalable, automated solutions across ERP and AP tools.\nSupport system implementations, upgrades, and integrations that strengthen Litera's financial technology stack.\nOwn account reconciliations and month-end close activities, delivering clean and timely results to the Accounting team.\nCreate and maintain SOPs, process documentation, and internal controls that bring consistency and accountability to AP operations.\nServe as the primary point of contact for vendor communications-managing payment status, resolving disputes, and enforcing policy.\nLitera is committed to providing reasonable accommodations throughout the recruitment process. If you need an accommodation, please let us know and we'll work with you to meet your needs.\nWhat You'll Bring\nMust-Haves:\n3-5+ years of progressive Accounts Payable experience in a mid-to-large organization.\nStrong understanding of AP best practices, including 3-way match, purchase orders, accruals, and payment processing.\nExperience supporting system integrations, financial system implementations, or process automation projects.\nSolid Excel skills and comfort working across financial systems and tools.\nExcellent attention to detail, problem-solving ability, and communication skills.\nNice to Haves:\nExperience with ERP platforms such as NetSuite, SAP, or similar AP automation tools.\nBackground in building or refining SOPs and internal controls for AP functions.\nExperience managing or mentoring AP team members.\nFamiliarity with multi-entity or international payment processing.\nGreat candidates don't check every box.
