You’ll partner with Engineering, Infrastructure, Cloud Operations, and Customer Support to eliminate manual toil, accelerate incident resolution, and build the automation and observability that keep Litera’s services running at scale. This is a high-impact, engineering-driven role where your ability to build intelligent tooling, diagnose complex production issues, and leverage AI to improve operational workflows will shape how Litera scales its platform. If you’re energized by solving hard reliability problems and building the systems that make everything else work, this is your opportunity.\nWhat You’ll Deliver\nDesign and implement automation solutions that eliminate manual operational effort across production environments - from diagnostics and remediation to monitoring, deployment, and service management.\nInvestigate and resolve complex production incidents across applications, infrastructure, and cloud services, driving root cause analysis and long-term corrective actions that improve system stability.\nBuild and enhance observability across the platform - designing monitoring, alerting, dashboards, and telemetry solutions that give teams real-time insight into system health and performance.\nLeverage AI-enabled tools and emerging technologies to build intelligent troubleshooting, diagnostics, and workflow automation that raise the bar on engineering efficiency.\nSupport cloud-native architectures across AWS and Azure, integrating reliability tooling into CI/CD pipelines and operational workflows to improve deployment confidence and scalability.\nDeliver automated operational reporting and engineering metrics that drive data-informed decisions and create visibility into service health, reliability trends, and platform improvements.\nLitera is committed to providing reasonable accommodations throughout the recruitment process. If you need an accommodation, please let us know and we’ll work with you to meet your needs.\nWhat You’ll Bring\nMust-Haves:\n7+ years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering, Software Engineering, Platform Engineering, DevOps, or a related technical discipline.\nStrong software development skills in Python, TypeScript, JavaScript, Java, or C#.\nProven experience troubleshooting and resolving complex production issues in large-scale distributed systems and SaaS environments.\nHands-on experience building automation tools, operational workflows, and engineering platforms.\nExperience with CI/CD pipeline design, deployment automation, and cloud environments (AWS and/or Azure).\nTrack record of conducting root cause analysis and implementing long-term remediation solutions that improve reliability.\nNice to Haves:\nExperience with observability and monitoring platforms such as Datadog, Dynatrace, Splunk, New Relic, Azure Monitor, or Amazon CloudWatch.\nBackground supporting enterprise SaaS platforms in production and improving service reliability and operational maturity.\nFamiliarity with AI-assisted engineering tools and intelligent automation frameworks.\nExperience with infrastructure automation and modern platform engineering practices.\nGreat candidates don’t check every box. Final compensation will be determined based on experience, skills, education, and other relevant qualifications. This role is also eligible to participate in a company bonus plan. In addition to base salary, Litera offers a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, a 401(k) with company match, and incentive and recognition programs.
