It’s a high-visibility opportunity to influence strategic decisions and mentor the engineers who build our next generation of products\nWhat You'll Deliver\nScalable software solutions that drive customer value across Litera’s legal technology portfolio.\nTechnical direction and architectural standards that improve reliability, performance, security, and long-term maintainability.\nA stronger, more capable team through mentorship, technical growth, and engineering best practices.\nFaster product development through AI-powered engineering tools, modern practices, and continuous improvement.\nComplex features and platform enhancements taken from concept to production with high quality and operational excellence.\nStronger cloud and DevOps capabilities through automation, deployment efficiency, and scalable infrastructure.\nInnovation through the evaluation and adoption of emerging technologies, including AI and GenAI.\nTechnical execution aligned with business goals through partnership with Product, Design, and leadership.\nWhat You'll Bring\nMust-Haves:\n5-7+ years of software engineering experience delivering complex, production-scale applications and SaaS products.\nStrong full-stack expertise building applications, APIs, and cloud-based solutions with modern technologies such as C#/.NET, React, TypeScript, and Node.js.\nAn AI-first mindset with familiarity using GenAI tools.\nExperience providing technical leadership through architecture decisions, code reviews, engineering standards, and mentoring.\nHands-on experience with cloud platforms, DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and scalable system design.\nStrong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills with a track record of driving results in fast-paced environments\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.\nNice to Haves:\nExperience with microservices, event-driven architectures, distributed systems, and other modern design patterns.\nFamiliarity with legal technology, professional services software, data analytics platforms, or other complex B2B SaaS environments.\nExperience leading distributed teams or operating high-availability cloud applications.\nExperience implementing secure development practices or driving quality through observability and test automation tools.\nWe know great candidates don’t always check every box. Final compensation will be determined based on experience, skills, education, and other relevant qualifications. This role is also eligible to participate in a company bonus plan. In addition to base salary, Litera offers a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, a 401(k) with company match, and incentive and recognition programs.
