You’ll partner with Product Management, Engineering, and Legal SMEs to frame problems, drive alignment, and deliver designs grounded in real user insight and product analytics. This is a high-impact role where your ability to balance speed with craft, navigate complexity, and elevate design maturity will be felt across the product and the organization. If you’re excited about designing AI-powered experiences in a complex, domain-rich environment, this is your opportunity.\nWhat You’ll Deliver\nOwn end-to-end design for your product area - from research and problem framing through release - ensuring every solution is grounded in user insight and delivers measurable outcomes.\nPartner with Product Management to shape problems, define scope, challenge assumptions, and set priorities that drive the product forward.\nLead cross-functional collaboration with Product, Legal SMEs, and Engineering - aligning stakeholders, driving decisions, and navigating the complexity of legal workflows.\nLeverage product analytics, user research, and domain expertise to make informed design decisions - knowing when to run a full study versus when quick insights will do.\nDesign across Microsoft add-ins, web, and mobile experiences, adapting fidelity and output to the stage - from early concepts that guide alignment to polished prototypes ready for build.\nElevate design maturity across the team by introducing process improvements, raising the quality bar, and championing a research-informed, user-centered approach.\nLitera is committed to providing reasonable accommodations throughout the recruitment process. If you need an accommodation, please let us know and we’ll work with you to meet your needs.\nWhat You’ll Bring\nMust-Haves:\n5+ years of experience as a UX/Product Designer with a track record of shipping and iterating on live products.\nB2B SaaS experience, particularly in environments where you’ve helped elevate design maturity - whether through process, collaboration, or raising the quality bar on what ships.\nWorking knowledge of AI design principles and a genuine interest in how AI and agentic products are evolving.\nExperience designing within the Microsoft ecosystem (add-ins, integrations).\nAbility to leverage product analytics tools like Pendo and existing organizational knowledge to inform design decisions.\nStrong cross-functional collaboration skills with the ability to align stakeholders, present design rationale, and navigate complex problem spaces.\nNice to Haves:\nExperience in LegalTech or similarly complex, domain-driven industries.\nFamiliarity with collaborative prototyping environments such as Replit.\nBackground independently running lightweight UX research (surveys, interviews, usability tests).\nExperience designing for mobile alongside desktop and web experiences.\nGreat candidates don’t check every box. Final compensation will be determined based on experience, skills, education, and other relevant qualifications. This role is also eligible to earn commission based on performance. In addition to base salary, Litera offers a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, retirement savings plan with company match, and incentive and recognition programs.
