From lithium for electric vehicle batteries, to copper for wind turbines, and rare earth elements for electronics, these minerals are the building blocks of our energy transition. \nLithosquare radically speeds up mineral exploration by combining foundational AI, geological expertise, and real-world data to reduce uncertainty, prioritize the right targets, reduce costs and accelerate discovery. Based in Paris, Lithosquare gathered an exceptional team of geologists, scientists, AI engineers, and data specialists to work as one, from field sampling to model optimization and push the boundaries of what's possible.\nAbout the job\nAs a Geologist at Lithosquare, you will play a key hybrid role at the intersection of field operation (around 20%) and office work (80%). You will support field campaign execution while actively contributing to data compilation, targeting, and QA/QC across our exploration portfolio.\nThis is a dynamic, cross-functional role: you will divide your time between field work (reconnaissance, sampling, drilling support) and office work in Paris, working closely with senior geologists, data scientists, and AI engineers. We are looking for someone rigorous, curious about technological innovation, and eager to learn while helping build the next generation of AI-assisted exploration tools.\nWhat you'll do\nReporting to the Senior Geologists and the VP Asset Development, your main responsibilities will include:\nField Execution & Support: Support and participate in all phases of field exploration programs, including regional reconnaissance, surface sampling, geophysical surveys, and drilling campaigns. Assist with field logistics while ensuring compliance with international health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards.\n\nData Compilation & QA/QC: Lead geological data entry, compilation, and QA/QC processes to ensure the accuracy, consistency, and integrity of exploration datasets across all projects.\n\nOffice Work: Assist senior geologists with geological data interpretation to support exploration targeting, field campaign planning, technical reporting, GIS mapping, data management, and project evaluation. Contribute to the preparation of maps, presentations, and technical documentation.\n\nBridge Geology & AI Tech: Work closely with the tech and AI teams to test, refine, and improve Lithosquare’s AI platform, ensuring our digital tools reflect field realities and technical needs.\n\nReporting & Collaboration: Prepare clear technical summaries, data visualizations, and maps for internal reviews and partner updates.\n\nWhat we are looking for\nMinimum 3 years of experience in mineral exploration geology\n\nDegree in Geology or Earth Sciences, with solid foundations in metallogeny, structural geology, or geochemistry\n\nFirst significant field exposure (mapping, sampling, or core logging) with a willingness to spend significant time in the field as required by projects\n\nData-driven & Rigorous: A structured approach to data management, QA/QC, and documentation; familiarity with GIS software (QGIS, ArcGIS) and/or geological modeling software is a plus\n\nTech-curious & Innovative mindset: Genuine interest in how AI and technology can transform traditional exploration methods\n\nStrong Communication: Ability to collaborate effectively in a multi-disciplinary team (geologists, data scientists, AI engineers), interact professionally with partners and produce clear, synthetic & high-quality deliverables\n\nMission-driven: Passionate about the energy transition and solving complex physical-world challenges through innovation\n\nFluency in English is required with previous exposure to international exchanges\n\nValid Driver's License (Permis B) is a bonus\n\nPerks & Benefits\nOffices located in the heart of Paris\n\nStrong culture of ownership & entrepreneurship\n\nOpportunity to significantly contribute to energy transition\n\nCollaborative work environment with world-class experts in geology, AI, and data science\n\nFlexible work arrangements enabling work-life balance\n\nSustainable mobility allowance (Forfait Mobilité Durable)\n\nGym pass\n\nFrequent team drinks, events & regular off-sites\n\nCompetitive salary package\n\nMeal vouchers and health insurance coverage (Alan)\n\nJoin Lithosquare and become part of a passionate team driving innovation at the intersection of AI and Earth exploration. Let's make a tangible difference together!","description_format":"text","description_chars":4535,"description_truncated":false,"requirements":{"experience_years_min":3,"management_years_min":null,"team_size_min":null,"manages_managers":false,"education":null,"security_clearance":false,"languages":[{"language":"English","level":"Advanced (C1)","optional":false}]},"benefits":["Flexible schedule","Health insurance","Insurance coverage"],"hiring_locations":[{"name":"France","iso":"FR","kind":"country"}],"hiring_excludes":[],"relocation_offered":false,"industries":["Geological Survey"],"lifecycle":[{"event":"open","at":"2026-09-13T00:59:18Z"}],"visa":[],"liveness":{"score":30,"band":"fade","label":"Fading","p_open":1,"p_active":0.552,"p_room":0.55,"age_days":49,"expected_fill_days":34,"reasons":["conf:0","win:tail"],"computed_at":"2026-10-06T05:45:30Z"},"pay":null,"html_url":"https://alion.io/job/lithosquare-geologist","json_url":"https://alion.io/job/lithosquare-geologist.json","meta":{"generated_at":"2026-10-06T21:38:01Z","cache_seconds":300,"methodology":"https://alion.io/methodology","terms":"https://alion.io/terms","contact":"https://alion.io/contact","api":"https://alion.io/developers","about":"Alion is a live layer of people, companies and AI agents: who they are, whether they are real and active right now, what they do and how to work with them, readable by people and by agents and paid per call.","catalog":"https://alion.io/catalog.json","usage":{"tier":"crawler","counted_by":"address","units_charged":1,"used_today":1242,"day_limit":5000,"remaining_today":3758,"minute_limit":60,"resets_at":"2026-10-07T00:00:00Z"}},"offers":[{"id":"company.slices","title":"One company in depth, by slice","status":"live","price":{"credits":0.02,"usd":0.002,"plus_per_slice":{"credits":0.05,"usd":0.005}},"unit":"per company, plus each slice with data","note":"the employer in depth","call":{"mcp_tool":"get_company","arguments":{"id":680154},"rest":"https://alion.io/mcp/rest/get_company?id=680154"},"human":"https://alion.io/catalog?offer=company.slices&for=job%2Flithosquare-geologist"},{"id":"market.stats","title":"A market slice: pay, demand and time to fill","status":"live","price":{"credits":1,"usd":0.1},"unit":"per slice","note":"pay, demand and time to fill for this role and place","call":{"mcp_tool":"market_stats"},"human":"https://alion.io/catalog?offer=market.stats&for=job%2Flithosquare-geologist"},{"id":"job.search","title":"Open jobs by role, technology, place, pay and visa","status":"live","price":{"credits":0.02,"usd":0.002},"unit":"per posting in a list","note":"similar open postings","call":{"mcp_tool":"search_jobs"},"human":"https://alion.io/catalog?offer=job.search&for=job%2Flithosquare-geologist"},{"id":"company.verify","title":"Is this company real and active right now","status":"pilot","price":null,"unit":"per company","request":{"url":"https://alion.io/catalog/request","method":"POST","body":"{\"offer\": \"company.verify\", \"for\": \"job/lithosquare-geologist\", \"note\": \"what you need it for\"}"},"human":"https://alion.io/catalog?offer=company.verify&for=job%2Flithosquare-geologist"}]}
