Joining this project means working in an international, agile environment with modern technologies, collaborating with experienced engineering teams to deliver high-impact products used worldwide.\nABOUT THE ROLE\nWe are looking for Lead Developer / Feature Team Lead to join our automotive client and support the development and evolution of enterprise and cloud-based applications.\nThe role combines hands-on software development with technical leadership. You will work closely with the development teams and the German Architect, providing technical guidance, supporting architectural decisions, and contributing directly to the development of solutions.\nWe are looking for a team member with stronger experience with AWS and cloud-native development, alongside Java and Angular.\nThe role requires strong technical leadership, collaboration skills, and the ability to work effectively in an international environment.\nRESPONSIBILITIES\nLead and support a software development team together with the Architect.\n\nProvide technical guidance and support developers in day-to-day implementation.\n\nContribute hands-on to the design, development, testing, and maintenance of applications.\n\nTranslate architectural concepts and requirements into practical technical solutions.\n\nTake ownership of technical decisions within the team and ensure alignment with the overall architecture.\n\nDrive development best practices, code quality, maintainability, and continuous improvement.\n\nReview code and provide technical feedback and mentoring to other developers.\n\nCollaborate closely with architects, developers, product stakeholders, and other technical teams.\n\nHelp identify and resolve technical challenges, dependencies, and risks.\n\nSupport the transition and evolution from legacy technologies towards modern, scalable solutions.\n\nParticipate in the design and development of cloud-based services and applications, depending on the area of focus.\n\nREQUIREMENTS\nStrong professional experience in Java software development.\n\nExperience in a Lead Developer, Technical Lead, or similar technical leadership role.\n\nStrong knowledge of Java/Quarkus and modern Java development practices.\n\nExperience with Angular and frontend development.\n\nStrong practical experience with AWS and cloud-native application development.\n\nGood understanding of software architecture, design patterns, APIs, and distributed applications.\n\nExperience with modern development practices, version control, testing, and CI/CD.\n\nAbility to balance hands-on development with technical leadership and team coordination.\n\nStrong communication and collaboration skills.\n\nFluency in English.\n\nAbility to work effectively with an architect and development team in an international environment.\n\nWillingness and readiness to travel as required by project or client needs is expected.
