ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a Lead Full-Stack Developer who combines strong technical expertise with technical leadership, proactive communication, and a consulting-oriented mindset.

This is a hands-on technical leadership role with a strong business-facing component. You will not only design and develop solutions, but also work directly with the client and product stakeholders to understand business needs, evaluate technical options, recommend solutions, and help drive topics from an idea through to implementation.

The team will consist of a Lead Developer and a junior developer, with the Lead taking responsibility for technical direction, mentoring, solution development, and day-to-day technical guidance.

The project focuses on building a product that leverages Generative AI and AI Agent technologies, with Python as the primary backend language. The ideal candidate should be comfortable working with modern AI Agent frameworks and APIs, while also having strong full-stack development and cloud experience.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Technical Leadership & Consulting

• Take technical ownership of the product and drive development topics proactively.

• Act as a technical point of contact for the client, understanding requirements and translating business needs into technical solutions.

• Consult with product and business stakeholders on technical approaches, solution options, and potential improvements.

• Evaluate different technical solutions and recommend the most appropriate approach based on business and technical requirements.

• Take ownership of technical issues and proactively drive them toward resolution, including supporting the team during challenging production situations.

• Make architectural and technical decisions and communicate them clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Lead and mentor the junior developer, providing technical guidance, code reviews, and support.

• Collaborate with other development teams and stakeholders where solutions or dependencies cross team boundaries.

Full-Stack Development

• Design and develop scalable full-stack applications using Python and Angular.

• Build and maintain frontend applications using Angular and integrate custom CSS component libraries provided by the client.

• Develop backend services using Python, with a strong focus on AI Agent-based applications.

• Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs and integrations.

• Work with AI Agent frameworks such as LangChain, Strands Agents, and MCP-based solutions.

• Integrate AI capabilities, LLMs, and external/internal services into production applications.

• Write clean, maintainable, testable, and well-documented code.

• Participate in architecture and system design decisions.

Cloud & Infrastructure

• Develop, deploy, and operate applications in AWS environments.

• Work with AWS services including EC2, ECS, Lambda, and Load Balancers.

• Build and maintain containerized applications using Docker.

• Contribute to CI/CD processes and deployment automation.

• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues and contribute to system reliability and scalability.

Agile & Collaboration

• Work as part of an Agile/Scrum development team.

• Participate actively in Scrum ceremonies, planning, refinement, reviews, and retrospectives.

• Collaborate with product owners, business stakeholders, engineers, and other technical teams.

• Proactively identify opportunities to improve the product, architecture, development processes, and team practices.

REQUIREMENTS

Must Have - Technical

• Strong professional experience in full-stack software development.

• Strong hands-on experience with Python.

• Experience with AI Agent frameworks, such as LangChain, Strands Agents, or similar technologies.

• Understanding or hands-on experience with MCP (Model Context Protocol) or similar agent/tool integration frameworks.

• Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and API design.

• Professional experience with Angular.

• Experience working with Docker and containerized applications.

• Hands-on experience with AWS, particularly:

  • EC2

  • ECS

  • Lambda

  • Load Balancers

• Solid understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Must Have - Leadership & Business

• Previous experience as a Lead Developer, Tech Lead, Senior Developer with technical leadership responsibilities, or similar.

• Proven experience leading technical topics and making technical decisions.

• Strong proactive communication skills.

• Comfortable working directly with clients and business/product stakeholders.

• Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into practical technical solutions.

• Ability to consult, challenge, and advise stakeholders rather than simply implement predefined requirements.

• Strong ownership and ability to independently drive topics from problem identification through to resolution.

• Experience mentoring or guiding other developers.

Good to Have

• Hands-on Generative AI / LLM experience.

• Experience with Nx / NX Smart Repositories.

• Knowledge of GitHub Actions and CI/CD pipelines.

• Experience with Terraform or other Infrastructure-as-Code tools.

• Experience with Kubernetes.

• Experience working with AI-powered products in production.

• Experience in the automotive industry.
