Learn more at www.litmos.com.\nAbout the Role \nLitmos is looking for a Mobile Developer to help evolve our iOS and Android applications. You will work across our existing native apps (Swift and Kotlin), build new features in React Native, and own the WebView experience that brings Litmos learning content into the mobile apps. This is a hands-on role for an engineer who is comfortable moving between native code, React Native, and web content, and who cares about a smooth learner experience on mobile. \nWhat You'll Do \nBuild and maintain mobile features in React Native for iOS and Android. \nExtend and support our existing native iPhone (Swift) and Android (Kotlin) apps, including hosting React Native screens within them. \nOwn WebView-based experiences such as embedded LMS and course content: authentication and session handling, native-to-web communication (JavaScript bridges), deep links, file handling, and performance. \nContribute to the plan for consolidating native and cross-platform code, helping decide what moves to React Native and what stays native. \nImplement new mobile capabilities such as push notifications, offline support, biometric login, and device permissions. \nBuild and maintain CI/CD pipelines and manage App Store and Google Play releases, including versioning, signing, and phased rollouts. \nWrite unit and integration tests, review code, debug production issues, and monitor app stability and crash reports. \nCollaborate with product, design, QA, and backend teams in an Agile environment. \nRequired Qualifications \n3-5 years of professional mobile development experience. \nSolid hands-on experience with React Native and TypeScript/JavaScript in shipped production apps. \nStrong understanding of WebViews on iOS and Android: loading and securing web content, cookies and sessions, JS bridges, navigation, and debugging web content inside apps. \nExperience publishing and maintaining apps in the App Store and Google Play. \nFamiliarity with mobile CI/CD (e.g., Fastlane, GitHub Actions, Bitrise, or similar) and release management. \nExperience consuming REST APIs and handling authentication (OAuth/SSO, token management). \nGood communication skills and the ability to work in a distributed team. \nPreferred Qualifications \nWorking knowledge of Swift (UIKit/SwiftUI, WKWebView) and Kotlin (Android SDK, Android WebView). \nExperience with native modules / bridging native code to React Native. \nExperience integrating React Native into existing native apps (brownfield). \nExperience with e-learning content (SCORM, xAPI) or LMS platforms. \nMobile accessibility and performance optimization experience. \nExperience with mobile security practices and app analytics/crash tools. \nSuccess in the First Year \nIndependently delivering React Native features and WebView improvements to production. \nReduced WebView-related defects and improved learner experience on mobile. \nReliable, repeatable release process for both iOS and Android. \nMeaningful contribution to the native vs. React Native roadmap. \nSalary Range: ₹22,00,000 to ₹28,00,000 plus 10% bonus\nAs a learning company we believe in the potential of everyone; if you don't have experience in all the details mentioned in this job post, then we still encourage you to apply and we'll get back to you as soon as we can. \nWe are an equal opportunity workplace employer.
