You will play a key role in strategic sourcing, supplier management, cost reduction, and the execution of savings initiatives to improve procurement performance and competitiveness.\nIn this role, you will collaborate closely with Engineering, Plant Operations, and other internal stakeholders to develop sourcing strategies, optimize the supplier base, negotiate competitive commercial terms, and ensure reliable supply. You will also drive annual cost reduction targets, monitor procurement KPIs, and ensure compliance with Littelfuse’s indirect procurement policies.\nAbout the Job:\nLead sourcing projects across indirect procurement categories, consolidating and rationalizing the supplier base to improve costs and strengthen sourcing strategies.\nDevelop and implement plant-specific sourcing strategies to ensure a reliable, competitive, and sustainable supply base.\nManage supplier performance in cost, quality, and delivery, conducting regular business reviews with key suppliers and identifying opportunities to mitigate supply chain risks.\nDevelop and execute annual cost reduction plans to achieve established savings targets, leveraging cost models, commercial negotiations, and supplier optimization initiatives.\nCollaborate with Engineering teams to identify and implement cost-saving projects, ensuring timely execution and measurable results.\nManage relationships with internal stakeholders across Littelfuse’s Industrial Business Unit facilities in North America to align procurement strategies with business and operational needs.\nMonitor, analyze, and report procurement KPIs, savings performance, and supplier improvement initiatives.\nEnsure compliance with Mexico’s Indirect Procurement Policy and established procurement processes.\nTravel to Matamoros as required to support sourcing initiatives, stakeholder collaboration, and procurement projects.\nAbout You:\nBachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.\nAt least 3 years of experience in indirect procurement, sourcing, or purchasing.\nStrong experience in CAPEX procurement and project management.\nKnowledge of suppliers and market conditions in northern Mexico.\nProven experience in supplier negotiations, cost reduction initiatives, and supplier performance management.\nStrong analytical skills and experience developing cost models, evaluating commercial proposals, and identifying savings opportunities.\nExperience with SAP and proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and other procurement reporting tools.\nFluent English, both written and spoken, is required.\nStrong project management, communication, and stakeholder management skills.\nSelf-management skills, a proactive attitude, and the ability to work independently in a dynamic environment.\nResults-oriented mindset with a strong focus on continuous improvement, cost optimization, and supply chain performance.\nLittelfuse strives to empower associate growth and development in a culture of ongoing collaboration and respect for diverse global perspectives and expertise.
