Reporting to the EHS Manager, you will support the delivery of environmental, health and safety activities across the site, helping to maintain compliance, promote a positive safety culture, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.\nAbout the Position:\nSupport the maintenance of Environmental, Health & Safety programmes and procedures.\nAssist with accident, incident and near miss reporting, investigations and corrective action tracking.\nSupport EHS inspections, audits and workplace assessments.\nMaintain EHS records, databases and documentation.\nAssist with the management of contractor activities and associated documentation.\nCoordinate EHS training activities and maintain training records.\nAssist with the development and communication of EHS awareness campaigns and safety initiatives.\nSupport the completion and review of risk assessments, safe systems of work and COSHH assessments.\nSupport environmental compliance activities, including waste management, environmental permitting requirements, sustainability reporting and resource efficiency initiatives.\nAssist with the monitoring and reporting of environmental performance metrics, including energy, water, waste and emissions data.\nSupport the maintenance of the ISO 14001 Environmental Management System and ISO 50001 Energy Management System.\nUndertake any other reasonable duties in support of the EHS function.\nAbout You:\nNEBOSH Certificate (minimum) or actively working towards certification\nStrong working knowledge of UK EHS legislation\nKnowledge and practical experience of ISO 45001, ISO 14001 and ISO 50001 standards, including supporting audits, compliance activities and management system processes.\nProactive and self-motivated, with a strong sense of ownership\nStrong communication skills and confidence interacting with employees at all levels.\nPractical, hands-on approach to problem solving\nStrong organisational skills and attention to detail\nResilient and adaptable, with the ability to work under pressure, manage competing priorities and respond effectively to changing business demands.\nAbility to work independently and manage competing priorities\nPreferred:\nEnvironmental qualification, experience, or a willingness to study towards a recognised environmental qualification.\nExperience of environmental compliance, sustainability programmes, waste management or environmental management systems is highly desirable. \nKnowledge of environmental legislation and regulatory compliance requirements would be advantageous.\nExperience working with hazardous chemicals / COSHH management and Sustainability \nExperience of ISO 50001 Energy Management Systems\nPrevious experience in an EHS, Compliance, or Manufacturing is desirable.\n#LI-DR\nAt Littelfuse, we support employee growth and development.
