In this role, you will act as a technical partner to customers and the regional Sales team, helping identify the right technologies, solve application challenges, and support successful product design-ins from the early concept stage through validation and production.\nYou will collaborate closely with Sales, Product Management, R&D, Quality, and other engineering teams to develop customer solutions, support new business opportunities, and share market and application insights.\nThis role is ideal for an engineer with a strong background in electrical engineering, power electronics, or related industrial technologies who enjoys solving technical challenges, working directly with customers, and learning across a broad portfolio of protection, sensing, control solutions. A power semiconductor background is considered a strong advantage. The successful candidate will be expected to support multiple Littelfuse technologies and engage with customers at both component and system level.\nKey Responsibilities:\nDevelop a solid understanding of the broader Littelfuse portfolio and support customers in identifying complete system-level solutions incorporating multiple product families. \nProvide technical support to customers throughout the application development and design-in process. \nAnalyze customer requirements and recommend appropriate technical solutions, working with internal product and engineering specialists. \nTroubleshoot technical issues and support laboratory testing, validation, and investigation of application-related problems. \nPartner with Sales to identify technical opportunities and support design wins in strategic customer projects. \nDeliver technical presentations, workshops, and product training for customers and distribution partners. \nCollaborate with Product Management, R&D, and Quality to communicate customer needs and contribute to product and technology development. \nMonitor technical opportunities, support customer follow-up, and share application knowledge across the EMEA organization. \nTravel across EMEA to support customer projects, technical meetings, and training activities. \nAbout You:\nBachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Power Electronics, or a related engineering discipline. \nAt least 5-7 years of relevant engineering experience in Field Application Engineering, Application Engineering, Design Engineering, or a similar technical role. \nThe FAE serves as a primary technical interface between Littelfuse and customers, helping translate application challenges into system-level solutions by leveraging the full range of Littelfuse technologies and expertise. \nExperience with power semiconductors is considered a strong advantage. Equivalent experience in power electronics, industrial automation, protection, sensing, or related application areas will also be considered \nAbility to understand system architecture, technical specifications, and customer application requirements. \nDemonstrated ability and willingness to learn and support a broad range of technologies. \nStrong problem-solving skills and a practical approach to technical troubleshooting and validation. \nExcellent communication skills and the ability to explain technical concepts to both engineering and commercial audiences. \nCustomer-oriented mindset and willingness to work closely with customers and Sales teams. Candidates coming from design engineering must be comfortable in a customer-facing role. \nFluent English; German & Italian is an advantage. \nWillingness to travel approximately 50-60% across EMEA. \nFor this position, we offer a gross annual base salary of approximately €70,000 to €85,000 + bonus.
