Guided by our principles We Care, We Succeed With Our Customers, and We Own the Outcome, we work collaboratively, think boldly, and deliver solutions that move industries forward.\nThe Manufacturing Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, improving, and supporting manufacturing processes to ensure stable, efficient, and cost-effective production operations.\nAbout Your Job:\nConduct time studies, capacity analysis, labor utilization assessments, and equipment performance evaluations.\n\nPerform process balancing, productivity analysis, and bottleneck identification to improve throughput and operational efficiency.\n\nLead and/or participate in Kaizen, Lean Manufacturing, and continuous improvement initiatives focused on waste reduction, quality enhancement, and cost optimization.\n\nAnalyze production processes and implement corrective actions to improve quality, reduce scrap, and eliminate recurring process issues.\n\nDevelop, maintain, and standardize work instructions, process documentation, SOPs, and manufacturing standards.\n\nSupport New Product Introduction (NPI), product transfers, process qualifications, and manufacturing validations.\n\nAnalyze production capacity requirements and support expansion projects to meet customer demand.\n\nIdentify, justify, and implement automation opportunities to improve productivity, ergonomics, and manufacturing consistency.\n\nSpecify, validate, optimize, and troubleshoot production equipment, fixtures, tooling, and manufacturing systems.\n\nCollaborate with equipment suppliers, contractors, and internal stakeholders to implement process improvements and new technologies.\n\nDrive safety and ergonomic improvements within manufacturing workstations and production environments.\n\nPartner closely with Production, Quality, Maintenance, Supply Chain, Product Engineering, and Planning teams to ensure successful project execution and operational alignment.\n\nSupport manufacturing equipment integration projects, including process automation, robotics applications, equipment parameter optimization, and production line interfaces.\n\nAbout You:\nBachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or a related field.\n\n5+ years of manufacturing engineering experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment.\n\nExperience in stamping, metal forming, metal-mechanical manufacturing, or related production environments.\n\nExperience with equipment integration, robotic systems, automated assembly processes, and automated production lines.\n\nExposure to tooling design, fixture development, process setup, and equipment parameterization.\n\nKnowledge of tin soldering processes, joining technologies, and related manufacturing operations.\n\nExperience leading cost reduction and productivity improvement projects with measurable results.\n\nSix Sigma certification or experience utilizing statistical process improvement tools.\n\nStrong Industrial Engineering fundamentals including time studies, labor analysis, capacity planning, line balancing, and productivity improvement.\n\nExperience with Lean Manufacturing methodologies, including Kaizen, 5S, Kanban, Pull Systems, Poka-Yoke, and continuous improvement tools.\n\nExperience developing and optimizing manufacturing processes, equipment utilization, and operational efficiency.\n\nKnowledge of automation, robotics integration, manufacturing equipment commissioning, and process parameter optimization.\n\nExperience working with manufacturing equipment, tooling design, fixtures, and process development.\n\nStrong root cause analysis and problem-solving skills using structured methodologies.\n\nAbility to identify operational requirements based on customer demand and adjust resources accordingly.\n\nExperience supporting process validation, equipment qualification, and standardized manufacturing practices.\n\nEffective collaboration and communication skills in cross-functional environments.\n\nYou'll have success in this role if you:\nIncrease production efficiency and throughput.\n\nReduce manufacturing costs, scrap, and downtime.\n\nDrive the successful implementation of automation and continuous improvement projects and maintain stable, repeatable, and standardized manufacturing processes.\n\nKeep strong collaboration across Production, Quality, Maintenance, Supply Chain, and Engineering teams.\n\nKeep Safe and efficient manufacturing operations supporting business growth objectives.\n\nLittelfuse is an equal opportunity employer committed to empowering every associate to make a difference - everywhere, every day.\nAt Littelfuse, we support employee growth and development.
