This position works globally and closely with factory, engineering, sales & marketing, technical teams, and external customers to resolve the quality issue with root cause/corrective actions. The Customer Quality Engineer will build a high-engagement, customer-centric quality culture and deliver a consistent, high-quality customer experience by acting as a trusted partner to key customers while driving internal alignment, execution, and continuous improvement.\nKey Responsibilities\nAct as focal point for all quality-related customer communications including quality complaints. Serve as the voice of the customer to internal team, drive solution for the customer and provide updates to the customer in a timely manner. Lead customer-facing quality discussion including issue resolution and quality reviews.\nEstablish and deploy global customer quality standards. Collect customer specific requirements and support the review, disposition, and execution of such requirements within the product, manufacturing, and operations environment.\nFacilitate Product change management (PCN) to meet customer requirements and support timely implementation.\nWork with factories to organize and facilitate customer audits to demonstrate Quality Management System compliance and effectiveness to standards including ISO, IATF, VDA.\nSupport business reviews, new business opportunities while contributing to product lifecycle management decisions.\nPrepare and present quality performance summaries at internal management reviews. Lead the development and execution of Quality Improvement Plans (QIPs) to drive continuous improvement in customer quality scores including product quality, service and responsiveness, and customer specific requirements.\nSupport customer product inquiries for both existing products and new product opportunities.\nOther duties as assigned.\nEducation\nBachelor's degree in an Engineering discipline including Electrical Semiconductor Technology, Microelectronics, Electronic, Automation, Mechanical, Electrical Master’s degree is preferred.\nQualifications\n10+ years in Quality, Manufacturing or Engineering.\nKnowledge of semiconductor manufacturing principles and processes, with failure analysis or reliability experience a plus.\nKnowledge of complex electrical or mechanical assemblies.\nUnderstanding of quality management systems such ISO9000, IATF16949 / VDA, ISO13485; audit experience in automotive or medical standards is a plus.\nKnowledge of 8D problem solving, requirements management, change management.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.\nExperience in a global manufacturing environment preferred, with understanding of operations / planning / logistics.\nKnowledge of executing safe launch procedures and product/process transfer activities.\nAdvanced knowledge in MS Office.\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills, with ability to interface effectively with all levels of the organization.\nTeam oriented and responsive.\nAbility to multi-task, prioritize and work in a high-pressure environment.\nUp to 25% travel.\n\nArtificial intelligence (AI) tools may be used in some portions of the candidate review process for this position, however, all final employment decisions will be made by a person.Salary Range:\n$123,100 - $190,780The salary offered will vary depending on your location, job-related skills, knowledge, and experience.\nAt Littelfuse, we support employee growth and development.
