The role involves sourcing, supplier management, RFQs, negotiations, cost analysis, maintaining the Approved Vendor List (AVL), developing multiple suppliers, and supporting cost and sourcing strategies. The position also requires close collaboration with other Category Managers and global teams to support supplier development, negotiations, and other sourcing initiatives within the assigned region.\nAbout the job:\nSupport category strategies and work with different teams to improve product lines, consolidate suppliers, and increase business with key\nManage suppliers based on cost, quality, delivery, and service, negotiate prices and commercial terms, conduct regular reviews with key suppliers, and address supplier performance\nDevelop and implement annual cost-saving plans, work with Engineering on cost-reduction projects, use cost models to identify savings, and negotiate better\nWork with Category Managers in other regions to support or lead supplier negotiations, find new suppliers, and develop additional sourcing options within\nMonitor industry trends, regulations, market conditions, and competitors, and share market insights with different teams to support business\nAbout you:\nBachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree is a plus.\n5+ years of experience in procurement/category management and manufactured products.\nStrong skills in sourcing, negotiation, supplier management, and cost analysis.\nExperience in category strategy and market analysis.\nStrong communication, analytical, and project management skills.\nAble to work independently and as part of a team.\nProficient in English, Excel, and PowerPoint.\nKnowledge of cost modeling is a plus.\n\n#LF_FE1\nAt Littelfuse, we support employee growth and development.
