Guided by our principles We Care, We Succeed With Our Customers, and We Own the Outcome, we work collaboratively, think boldly, and deliver solutions that move industries forward.\nReporting to Sr. Logistics Supervisor, you as a Sr. Import & Export Specialist will be responsible for leading and managing import and export operations, customs compliance, logistics management, and trade compliance activities to ensure efficient, compliant, and cost-effective global trade operations.\nAbout the job:\nLead and manage daily import and export activities to ensure on-time and compliant shipment execution\nReview shipping and customs documentation, including Commercial Invoice, Packing List, Bill of Lading / Air Waybill, Certificate of Origin (COO), Used Equipment Certificate, Dangerous Goods (DG) Declaration, Out of 3C Catalogue Certificate, and other government-required documents\nMonitor shipment status and proactively resolve logistics, transportation, and customs clearance issues\nCoordinate closely with freight forwarders, customs brokers, carriers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders\nEstablish contingency plans to minimize supply chain disruptions and business impact\nEnsure full compliance with China Customs regulations, international trade regulations, and company trade compliance policies\nManage customs audits, government inspections, and regulatory inquiries\nLead HS Classification reviews and maintain classification accuracy\nMonitor regulatory changes and communicate potential business impacts\nSupport FTAs (Free Trade Agreements), COO management, and duty-saving initiatives\nIdentify and mitigate import/export compliance risks\nManage transportation performance and logistics service provider relationships\nDevelop and monitor KPIs including On-Time Delivery (OTD), Customs Clearance Lead Time, Freight Cost, Logistics Cost as % of Revenue, and Broker Performance\nConduct RFP evaluations and transportation cost analysis\nDrive freight cost reduction initiatives and annual savings projects\nSupport logistics budget planning and forecasting\nEnsure accuracy and integrity of logistics and customs-related data within SAP, TMS, and other business systems\nDevelop regular dashboards and management reports\nAnalyze logistics performance data and identify root causes of operational issues\nRecommend and implement corrective and preventive actions\nAbout you:\nBachelor's degree in International Trade, Logistics Management, or a related field\nMinimum 10 years of experience in import/export operations, logistics, customs compliance, or supply chain management\n2-3 years of supervisory or team leadership experience preferred\nStrong knowledge of International Trade Compliance, China Customs Regulations, Import/Export Operations, HS Classification, Incoterms® 2020, Duty & Tax Management, and Free Trade Agreements (FTA)\nHands-on experience with SAP (ERP), TMS (Transportation Management System), and Microsoft Office (Advanced Excel preferred)\nPower BI and data analytics tool experience preferred\nExcellent stakeholder management skills\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills\nAbility to lead cross-functional initiatives\nStrong negotiation and vendor management skills\nFluent English in both written and verbal communication\nExperience working with freight forwarders, customs brokers, carriers, and government authorities\nStrong knowledge of China Customs regulations and import/export processes\nExperience managing transportation tenders (RFPs) and logistics cost optimization projects preferred\nCustoms Broker Certification, AEO Internal Auditor certification, or International Trade Compliance certification preferred\nAt Littelfuse, we support employee growth and development.
