You will lead daily maintenance activities, optimize operating costs related to electricity, water, visual systems, and technical support, and drive root cause analysis to resolve maintenance issues and improve overall performance.\nIn this role, you will lead and develop the maintenance team, ensure the effective execution of preventive and corrective maintenance programs, and implement continuous improvement projects to enhance equipment reliability and facility performance. You will also ensure compliance with applicable Mexican regulations, company safety standards, and the company's 6S program, while supporting internal and external audits, including IATF and VDA 6.3 requirements.\nAbout the Job:\nLead, organize, and train the maintenance team to ensure effective daily operations and achievement of key maintenance performance indicators.\nDevelop, implement, and maintain preventive and corrective maintenance programs for company facilities, assets, and equipment to improve reliability and reduce downtime.\nMonitor maintenance performance indicators and identify opportunities to optimize equipment performance, resource utilization, and operating costs.\nLead and develop a high-performing maintenance team, promoting accountability, technical development, collaboration, and continuous improvement.\nPropose, plan, and execute improvement projects for equipment, facilities, and production areas to enhance operational efficiency and reliability.\nOptimize operating costs related to electricity, water, visual systems, technical support, and other building maintenance activities.\nPerform and lead root cause analysis to identify the causes of maintenance issues and implement effective corrective and preventive actions.\nEnsure the safe operation, maintenance, and reliability of building systems, including high-capacity compressors, air conditioning systems, and electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic installations.\nImplement and continuously improve safe work practices to eliminate workplace accidents, reduce risks, and promote a strong safety culture.\nEnsure maintenance procedures comply with applicable Mexican regulations, company standards, and technical requirements for electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and other building systems.\nTrain maintenance team members on applicable procedures, technical standards, and safe work practices to ensure consistent compliance.\nEnsure adherence to the company's 6S program across maintenance activities and work areas.\nSupport and participate in internal and external audits, including IATF and VDA 6.3, ensuring maintenance processes and documentation meet applicable requirements.\nUtilize Excel and other MS Office tools to analyze maintenance data, monitor performance indicators, and support operational decision-making.\nCollaborate with the Maintenance Manager and cross-functional teams to align maintenance priorities with facility and operational needs.\nOther duties as assigned.\nLocation: Piedras Negras, Coahuila.\nAbout You:\nBachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.\nMinimum of 5 years of experience in building maintenance within an industrial or manufacturing environment.\nExperience supervising, leading, and developing technical maintenance teams.\nStrong knowledge of building maintenance systems, including high-capacity compressors and air conditioning systems.\nKnowledge of Mexican regulations and technical standards applicable to electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic installations.\nExperience developing and implementing preventive and corrective maintenance programs.\nExperience monitoring maintenance performance indicators and implementing initiatives to improve equipment reliability and operational efficiency.\nExperience conducting root cause analysis and implementing corrective and preventive actions using methodologies such as Six Sigma, Ishikawa, or similar problem-solving tools.\nExperience planning and executing equipment, facility, or production area improvement projects.\nKnowledge of workplace safety practices, risk prevention, and compliance with company safety standards.\nExperience implementing and maintaining 6S practices in an industrial or manufacturing environment.\nKnowledge of internal and external audit requirements, including IATF and VDA 6.3 standards.\nAdvanced Excel skills and proficiency in MS Office applications.\nStrong leadership, team development, and performance management skills.\nEffective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to coordinate maintenance activities and collaborate with cross-functional teams.\nStrong problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills.\nAccountability and a results-oriented approach, with the ability to prioritize maintenance activities and optimize resources.\nIntermediate to advanced English proficiency (B2-C1), with the ability to communicate effectively in a professional environment.\nLittelfuse strives to empower associate growth and development in a culture of ongoing collaboration and respect for diverse global perspectives and expertise.
