This role plays a key part in ensuring product integrity, supporting continuous improvement initiatives, and maintaining compliance with customer, regulatory, and manufacturing requirements.\nYou will work closely with Operations, Quality, Engineering, Manufacturing, and external customers to implement engineering changes, resolve technical issues, support product specifications, and drive product performance improvements. The position requires strong problem-solving capabilities, technical design experience, and the ability to collaborate effectively across multiple functions.\nAbout the Job:\nLead engineering change management activities, including development of preliminary drawings, change documentation, and implementation of engineering changes.\nCreate and maintain marked-up drawings, ensuring all technical and product information is accurately documented.\nConduct feasibility reviews with Operations, Manufacturing, Quality, and Service teams to evaluate proposed product changes.\nCoordinate and track engineering changes through approval, implementation, and release within internal systems.\nManage product deviations and engineering documentation within company systems.\nClarify technical requirements for both internal and external customers related to raw materials, product designs, specifications, and certifications.\nSupport inquiries related to product compliance requirements including ISO, IMDS, RoHS, UL, CSA, VDE, and other applicable standards.\nTroubleshoot product and manufacturing issues utilizing structured problem-solving methodologies.\nLead root-cause investigations using tools such as 5 Whys, 8D, A3, Ishikawa Diagrams, and Six Sigma methodologies.\nSupport manufacturing operations by assisting with floor issues and technical problem resolution.\nDevelop, maintain, and update product specifications, drawings, and technical documentation.\nEvaluate opportunities to improve product performance, reliability, manufacturability, and cost efficiency.\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful implementation of product improvements and engineering changes.\nUtilize engineering software and technical tools to develop product modifications and support design activities.\nAbout You:\nBachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.\nMinimum of 3 years of professional experience in Product Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Design Engineering, Sustaining Engineering, or related engineering functions.\nExperience managing engineering changes and technical documentation in a manufacturing environment.\nStrong understanding of engineering drawing practices and product design principles.\nExperience supporting manufacturing operations and resolving technical product issues.\nKnowledge of structured problem-solving methodologies including: 5 Whys, 8D, A3, Ishikawa Diagrams, Six Sigma, \nExperience utilizing engineering design software such as: AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Inventor.\nFamiliarity with product specifications, material requirements, certifications, and regulatory standards.\nStrong analytical and critical thinking skills.\nAbility to work effectively in cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.\nStrong communication and technical documentation skills.\nEnglish proficiency of at least 60% with ability to read, write, and communicate in professional environments.\nProficiency with Microsoft Office applications.\nSelf-motivated, detail-oriented, and focused on continuous improvement.\nLittelfuse strives to empower associate growth and development in a culture of ongoing collaboration and respect for diverse global perspectives and expertise.
