This is a working manager role that includes direct site management, customer education and assistance with day-to-day clinical demands. This position is responsible for monitoring and driving patient outcomes including titration/programming support, scheduling, and overall clinical outcomes. This position requires close collaboration with company stakeholders to ensure outstanding field support at clinical sites.\n\nGeneral Responsibilities\nTeam Leadership & Capability Development\nLead, coach, and develop a team of Field Clinical Specialists (FCS), ensuring consistent delivery of high-quality clinical education and support.\nEstablish clear performance expectations, provide ongoing feedback, and support career growth aligned with organizational needs.\nFoster a culture of patient safety, accountability, and continuous learning across the team.\nEnsure field readiness through onboarding, ongoing training, and credentialing of FCS team members.\nManagement of scheduling to ensure proper coverage of titration/programming visits\nPartner with sales team to ensure patient journey is supported and optimized\nClinical Excellence & Field Execution\nOversee the delivery of clinical training and technical support provided to healthcare professionals and patients, ensuring consistency and adherence to approved materials and Instructions for Use (IFU).\nMonitor and drive excellence in field execution, including therapy training, device programming support, and patient education.\nIdentify trends in field performance and implement improvements to enhance clinical outcomes and customer experience.\nCompliance, Quality & Risk Management\nEnsure team adherence to all regulatory, legal, and company compliance requirements, including proper documentation, adverse event reporting, and device safety protocols.\nReinforce clear boundaries between technical support and clinical decision-making in all field activities.\nPartner with Quality and Regulatory teams to address field issues and drive continuous improvement.\nCross-Functional Collaboration & Strategy\nAct as the primary liaison between the FCS team and cross-functional partners, including Sales, Marketing, Clinical, Engineering, Quality, and Legal.\nTranslate field insights into actionable feedback to inform product development, training programs, and clinical strategies.\nSupport clinical trials and product launches through coordinated field execution and training alignment.\nCustomer & Stakeholder Engagement\nBuild and maintain strong relationships with key clinical stakeholders, including physicians, surgeons, and sleep lab personnel, reinforcing LivaNova’s reputation for clinical expertise and partnership.\nSupport strategic accounts by elevating complex clinical situations and ensuring a high standard of service delivery.\nProviding clinical and technical support during overnight polysomnography tests (PSGs), as needed\nProviding of troubleshooting and technical support to clinical sites\nOperational Effectiveness & Planning\nManage team deployment, territory coverage, and resource allocation to optimize support across regions.\nTrack and analyze field activity metrics, training effectiveness, and team performance to drive data-informed decisions.\nEnsure accurate and timely reporting of field activities and business insights.\nProfessional Representation & Culture Leadership\nModel LivaNova’s values, demonstrating thoughtful humility, constructive collaboration, curious mindset, and empowered accountability.\nPromote a strong culture of professionalism, integrity, and patient-centricity across all interactions.\nEducation\nBachelor’s degree required, ideally in nursing, STEM, life sciences, sleep medicine or equivalent.\nAdditional Skills and Requirements\nA minimum of 5 years working with patients in a clinical setting, with 3 years in a management role\nExperience in neuromodulation, bio-engineering, nursing, or sleep medicine\nPreferred - RPGST certification\nAbility to manage and develop a high-performance field-based team\nEmpathy and understanding of the field sales force\nHigh degree of job ownership and business sense of urgency\nProject management skills\nWorks well within teams both cross-functionally and teams that may or may be not located within a specific building or geography\nDemonstrated leadership ability, analytical thinking and problem resolution skills\nStrong expertise in Microsoft computer software applications\nAbility to meet medical facility credentialing requirements\nRepetitive use of computer\nTravel Requirements\n35-65%\nPay Transparency\nA reasonable estimate of the annual base salary for this position is $120,000-140,000 plus discretionary annual bonus.
