At Live Nation Entertainment, our people embrace these qualities, so if this sounds like you then please read on!\nTHE JOB\nThe Wiltern is seeking a highly motivated and proactive Operations/Maintenance professional to join The Wiltern Theatre team. This position will be hands-on experience in an exciting, fast-paced, friendly, and inspired setting. This position reports to the Assistant General Manager and Operations Manager. This is not a remote position.\nWHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO\nWorks directly with the venue management to perform day of show duties.\nAssists in the setup and tear down of the venue's assets for all events - Chairs, tables, tents, signage, etc.\nExecutes timely marquee changes and updates for upcoming events to ensure accurate public display and promotion; must be comfortable working at heights more than 30 feet.\nSupports venue operations through other assigned responsibilities.\nPerform regular preventive and general maintenance around the site, buildings, including painting, cleaning, landscaping and misc. projects.\nPerform opening/running/closing duties according to Live Nation policy.\nKeep current on all Standard Operating Procedures and be able to effectively communicate them to team members.\nDiagnose safety issues around the site, help prevent potential safety hazards.\nDetect and/or respond to faulty operations, defective material and report those and any unusual situations to proper supervision.\nComply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.\nIf applicable, driving forklift and/or other company vehicles and complete all required tasks that fall under those positions.\nAssist with venue setup/event conversions.\nAssist in the day-to-day cleaning and housekeeping duties around the venue and site.\nParticipate in the venue’s sustainability program which could include implementing programs that conserve resources/prevent waste such as sorting waste and collecting recycling and educating our fans about our efforts.\nComply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.\nAdditional tasks as requested by management.\nWHAT THIS PERSON WILL BRING\nRequires a high school diploma/GED and completion of a craft apprenticeship, or an equivalent number of years of education and production maintenance experience. \nAn AA degree in mechanical, electrical, or industrial maintenance a plus. \nMust be highly motivated and able to work independently. \nPosition requires constant walking, climbing stairs, lifting and carrying 50 lbs.+ and occasional sitting \nEQUAL EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY\nWe aspire to build teams that reflect and support the fans and artists we serve.
