Our engineering hiring is steady and it's going to stay that way, so we want someone who'd rather go deep with a handful of engineering teams than churn through whatever's on fire this week. The tradeoff: you'll be expected to actually understand what you're hiring for and how your work impacts the business overall. detail and quality\n\nare a fast learner, frequently picking up new tips, tricks, and skills\n\nThe best way to impress us is with thoughtful ways you'd implement AI in the recruiting process\nWhat You'll Do\nOwn 8-10 engineering and technical searches end to end, from kickoff to signed offer\n\nPartner with engineering hiring managers on what the role really needs, and push back when the requirements don't match the market\n\nSource hard: find the infra, backend, SDK, and AI engineers who aren't looking, and give them a reason to talk to us\n\nUnderstand what candidates are motivated by and create a strategy to get them there\n\nBuild pipelines for the roles we hire for again and again, so new reqs don't start from zero\n\nRun an honest, authentic and clear process emphasizing candidate experience that people talk about, even the ones we don't hire\n\nHelp build the systems the Talent team runs on, from sourcing playbooks to interview kits\n\nWho You Are\n5+ years of full-cycle technical recruiting, mostly in-house\n\nYou've owned senior and staff-level engineering searches and closed them\n\nYou can hold a real conversation with an engineer about their work\n\nYou source proactively and know how to build and sustain a strong bench.\n\nYou've recruited for infrastructure, developer tools, open source, or AI companies\n\nYou've built or rebuilt a recruiting process from scratch\n\nYou know how to win top talent, even when competing against offers from big tech.\n\nNice to Have\nYou've used Ashby and Gem (or have strong opinions about the tools
