We are looking for candidates who already have demonstrable hands-on experience operating Linux-based cloud workloads in production, including Kubernetes environments, GCP, messaging systems, deployment automation, and infrastructure troubleshooting. The focus of the role is platform reliability, security, networking, access control, and service operations across our cloud stack.\nTasks\nOperate and improve our Kubernetes-based infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform, keeping production workloads healthy and performant\nModernize our authorization and authentication services for better scalability and security\nImplement and maintain deployment pipelines with a focus on consistency, automation, and reproducibility using tools like Ansible\nDesign inter-service communication patterns that keep our distributed system resilient\nCloud security practices including certificate management, access controls, and operational compliance\nBuild internal tooling and management capabilities for cloud components such as messaging systems and databases\nDevelop and maintain redundancy and high-availability strategies as the platform scales\nRequirements\n2+ years of hands-on experience operating Linux-based cloud infrastructure and containerized workloads in production\n2+ years of practical Kubernetes experience in production, including networking, rollout management, troubleshooting, and service reliability\n2+ years hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform / AWS in production environments, ideally with GKE, IAM, VPC, Cloud DNS, Load Balancing, and observability tooling\nProven experience writing and maintaining infrastructure-as-code with Terraform and/or Ansible in production systems\nConfident understanding of Linux, container networking, DNS, TLS, authentication/authorization concepts, and incident-oriented troubleshooting\nAbility to take ownership for operational stability, rollout processes, and security-related infrastructure tasks\nA valid full-time work permit for Germany\nBenefits\nReal ownership, early: You won't shadow someone for six months -
