This role directly contributes to business success by driving technical excellence, improving system performance, and mentoring engineering colleagues to build a high-performing engineering culture.\nKey Responsibilities \nDesign, develop, and maintain high-quality, scalable backend services using Java and Spring Frameworks (Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Cloud, AMQP, Spring Security).\nLead the end-to-end delivery of complex features or systems, ensuring alignment with architectural standards and business goals.\nProvide technical mentorship and promote best practices in coding, testing, and design, including conducting code reviews to ensure quality and secure coding.\nActively participate in agile ceremonies (stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives) using JIRA to manage tasks and track progress.\nWork closely with cross-functional teams, including product and design, to translate business requirements into technical solutions and ensure timely delivery.\nUtilize Git (Github) for version control and effective collaboration through pull requests and branching strategies.\nDesign and optimize relational database schemas, including writing efficient SQL queries and managing data migrations.\nIdentify opportunities to improve system performance, developer productivity, and code quality.\nStay current with emerging technologies and propose innovative solutions to technical challenges, contributing to internal knowledge sharing and tooling improvements.\nSupport deployment and monitoring of applications in cloud or on-prem environments, ensuring reliability and performance.\nSkills, Knowledge and Experience\nExperience in Java, with experience in object-oriented design and enterprise-level application development.\nExtensive experience with Spring Frameworks (Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Cloud, AMQP, Spring Security).\nExperience in using IntelliJ IDEA for efficient development, debugging, and refactoring.\nAbility to design and maintain normalized database schemas and write efficient SQL queries.\nFamiliarity with AI tools to optimize workload and efficiently prompt AI tools for desired output.\nAnalytical thinking and a solution-oriented mindset.\nA versatile individual with an appetite to learn and take on challenges.\nWork collaboratively with colleagues to support team objectives.\nNice to Have\nFamiliarity with front-end frameworks such as VUE and Angular.\nExperience with CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker), and cloud platforms (GCP).\nWrite efficient SQL queries and manage data migrations, backups, and performance tuning\nOur Tech Stack\nBackend: Java, Spring Framework\nFrontend: VueJS, Angular\nDatabase: MySQL, Mongo\nCloud: GCP\nMessaging: Kafka, RabbitMQ\nAI: Copilot, AgentSpace\nVersion Control: Github\nIDE: Intellij Ultimate\nTesting: Cypress, Postman\nWhat can we offer?
