To achieve this, we need great people, who share in our values.\nAs a Data Development & Support Analyst at LI, you will support and enhance our data platform and reporting services, ensuring data pipelines run efficiently and data is accurately delivered into our Azure Data Lake, Data Warehouse, and Power BI reporting environments.\nWorking within an agile team, you will support CI/CD release processes, manage deployments into pre-production and production environments, and help deliver continuous improvements across the platform.\nYou will also manage data extracts for internal and external stakeholders, identify opportunities to improve data ingestion processes, and drive automation, monitoring, performance, and service reliability improvements.\nThe role will involve working within Azure DevOps to manage Epics, Features, User Stories, and Tasks, helping to support effective planning and delivery across the team.\nResponsibilities\nYour responsibilities will include\nSupporting and maintaining efficient and effective data collection and reporting processes \nCarrying out vigorous testing and quality assurance to ensure any improvements to existing systems or new systems produce accurate information to a high quality. \nUsing Azure DevOps to build and deploy code to different environments. \nManaging ad hoc data requests to support stakeholder needs \nActively investigating ways of utilising the Azure stack and Databricks platforms to present data in clear, concise, and innovative ways and using this knowledge to benefit both internal and external stakeholders. \nWorking closely with Business Analysts and Data Engineers to develop innovative data solutions. \nUsing the Service Now ITSM tool to manage tickets, service requests, incidents and problems to a timely conclusion. \nComplying with Data Protection Act and security and confidentiality rules. \nKeeping abreast of appropriate industry and technological developments and applying to LI’s technical capability. \nYou may be required to undertake other duties assigned by your line manager as appropriate\nRequirements\nWe are looking for someone with the following\nStrong experience in querying and manipulating databases using SQL.\nGood working knowledge of Databricks and Python.\nExperience of data ingestion processes and data warehousing principles.\nA solid understanding of cloud computing technologies and environments.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.\nExcellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams and stakeholders.\nThe ability to work independently while also contributing positively within a team environment.\nAdaptability and flexibility in responding to changing business needs and priorities.\nExperience working within Agile delivery environments and SCRUM teams.\nExperience using Azure DevOps to manage tasks, workloads, and delivery activities.\nFamiliarity with the Azure Cloud Platform and associated services.\nBenefits\nAs an LI employee, you will be entitled to our company benefits which include\nA fully remote and flexible working set up \n25 days annual leave, increasing by 1 day each year of service up to maximum of 30 days (plus Bank Holidays)\n1 Privilege Day \n4 x annual salary Life Assurance\nMarket leading pension scheme through Legal & General\nEnhanced Family Friendly Policies\nExcellent learning, training, and career development opportunities\n24/7 access to our Employee Assistance Programme\nA diverse and inclusive culture where everyone is respected and valued\nApplication and Interview Process\nTo apply for this role, you will need to submit a CV and answer some pre-screening questions.\nThe interview and assessment process for this role will involve a telephone interview with our Talent Team, followed by a first stage and a final stage interview.
