We're looking for a Regional Operations Manager to lead the delivery of high-quality property services across a regional portfolio, ensuring excellent outcomes for our customers and value for money for the business. You will lead and develop a large team of managers and operational colleagues, overseeing performance and service delivery across multiple workstreams.\nKey Responsibilities\nLead the delivery of responsive repairs, planned maintenance, empty homes, and minor works programmes across the region.\nManage regional budgets, resources and operational performance to ensure services are delivered efficiently and provide value for money.\nDrive high levels of customer satisfaction through the delivery of a quality, right-first-time service and continuous improvement initiatives.\nLead, coach and develop a large operational workforce, creating a high-performing and engaged team culture.\nManage supply chain performance, ensuring works are delivered safely, compliantly and to agreed standards.\nEnsure compliance with all relevant legislation, health and safety requirements, regulatory standards and internal policies.\nWhy should I join LiveWest?\nThis is an exciting opportunity to play a key leadership role within Property Services, influencing service delivery across a large region and making a tangible difference to our customers' homes and communities. You can be based at any one of our LiveWest locations, Tolvaddon, Exeter or Weston-Super-Mare.\nFor further information about this role, and LiveWest, please view our candidate information pack.\nAbout The Candidate\nAbout the Candidate\nTo be successful in your application for the role of Regional Operations Manager, you will have the essential skills and experience for a level 3 role (please see candidate information pack) and the following role specific skills and experience:\nEssential Skills, Experience and Knowledge\nSignificant leadership experience within a property repairs, maintenance, housing or construction environment.\nExperience managing large operational teams and multiple service delivery workstreams.\nStrong budget management experience with responsibility for financial planning, forecasting and cost control.\nExperience managing contractors and driving performance against service standards and KPIs.\nExcellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and challenge at all levels.\nStrong understanding of health and safety legislation, compliance requirements and safe working practices.\nEssential Qualifications\nGood general education supported by relevant experience in a construction, maintenance or property-related environment.\nHealth and Safety qualification or equivalent experience (such as SMSTS, IOSH or NEBOSH Construction Certificate).\nValid UK driving licence.\nEvidence of continuing professional development.\nDesirable Skills, Experience, Knowledge and Qualifications\nLevel 4 or 5 qualification in a construction, asset management or related discipline (CIH, HNC, HND or equivalent).\nManagement qualification or training (ILM, CIH or equivalent).\nKnowledge of social housing repairs and maintenance services.\nExperience using repairs management, work planning or workforce management systems.\nStrong commercial awareness and experience delivering value for money.\nExperience leading service improvement, change management or transformation initiatives.\nPlease note: This role is not eligible for CoS.
