The Lead is expected to model appropriate behavior/skills during all interactions and is a vital communication link between the department Managers and our Warehouse team members and will help to ensure that warehouse operations are performed effectively and safely.Position Description \nEssential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.\nAssist and support the Supervisor and Managers to help organize, motivate and train team members\n\nPerform tasks to set the pace for daily productivity\n\nMonitor and lead the team to ensure that all key performance indicators (KPI’s) are achieved\n\nAct as subject matter expert with the team to ensure department efficiencies and goals are met\n\nReview the daily workflow and prioritize work among the team members\n\nAssist and check in with the team to ensure they meet their goals\n\nProvide feedback to the Supervisor or Manager as necessary for productivity, attendance and workplace conduct\n\nConduct and track production analysis to review trends and make improvement recommendations\n\nAudit adherence to standard operating procedures\n\nParticipate in interviewing new team members\n\nAssist with onboarding and training tasks of new hires\n\nAble to operate on tight deadlines with multiple priorities subject to frequent changes.\n\nMust be flexible to work holidays. Evenings, and weekends\n\nHelp to ensure all safety procedures are followed within the department\n\nQualifications \nEducation/Experience: High School Diploma or GED equivalent is required. 2 plus years of experience in a warehouse or distribution center role. Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.\nComputer Skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be proficient with Microsoft Office programs such as Office 365 and Word. Must have working knowledge of Warehouse Management System (WMS). Knowledge of AX system is a plus.\nPosition Hiring Range\nThe hiring pay range provides a good faith estimate of the salary or hourly wage that Living Spaces expects to pay for the position upon hire. Pay will be determined by several factors, including, but not limited to: applicant's education, relevant work experience, knowledge, applicable and relevant skills and abilities, market demand, Company budget, as well as internal equity and alignment with geographic market data. Living Spaces reserves the right to modify this page at any time.\nCompensation: $21.55 - $28.00Overtime pay is available for eligible, non-exempt Team Members. Reimbursement for expenses as required by applicable law and Company policy.
