Other duties may be assigned.\nDuties & Responsibilities: This position requires 5+ years “hands on” LEAN expert at the management level.\nLeads the organization’s Performance Improvement plan and Operational Efficiency initiatives; ensuring a data-driven and results oriented approach that supports successful execution of company strategic objectives.\nEducate department Supervisors and team members in identifying key performance improvement indicators, targeting opportunities for improvement, adopting best practice processes and successfully executing improvement initiatives.\nActively participate in the recruitment and hiring process, to ensure staffing levels are maintained with quality talent.\nProvide leadership for large employee populations in non-exempt positions and direct reports in exempt positions that both maximize and optimize resources in support of the company’s goals and objectives in serving customers.\nDesign and implement staffing strategies to ensure work force is flexible and can respond to variations in work flow.\nEffectively lead and develop the Process Managers and employees utilizing performance management tools to enhance performance and achieve individual as well as company goals.\nEnsure that the performance goals are set and achieved, through the proper execution of performance metrics as it relates to Productivity, Safety, Quality and Customer Service.\nEnsure productivity, safety, and quality goals are achieved through a process of continuous process improvement.\nWork closely with employees to communicate and educate on work instructions, policies, procedures and process improvement initiative.\nEnsure standardization and sharing of best-demonstrated practices with Operations, Distribution Center and as appropriate across the Distribution Centers.\nEnsure the company’s physical assets (building, equipment, inventory, etc.//) are properly controlled, maintained, protected and utilized.\nUtilize process improvements to continually improve operational efficiencies.\nDevelop LEAN training classes and implement policies and procedures to improve distribution center operations.\nEnsure superior customer service to customers and internal partners by delivering on shipping commitments to customers.\nDrive highest level of customer quality.\nQualifications \nTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to carry out each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.\nUp to 5 year(s) expertise with LEAN methodology and Continuous.\nImprovement 5+ year(s) previous management experience in a high volume distribution center operation\nProven leadership skills\nAbility to develop and maintain positive employee, customer and cross-functional team relations\nAbility to effectively promote and lead change Strong interpersonal skills and excellent communication skills are required Insure compliance with\nCompany, OSHA, DOT, and EPA regulations and power industrial equipment requirements.\nDemonstrated analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills with the ability to drive results.\nPosition requires occasional travel to other DC’s, corporate offices, and field locations.\nMust be available to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends and holidays.\nEducation: High School Degree or GED in relevant field or equivalent.\nCertificates (if applicable): N/A\nPosition Hiring Range\nThe hiring pay range provides a good faith estimate of the salary or hourly wage that Living Spaces expects to pay for the position upon hire. Pay will be determined by several factors, including, but not limited to: applicant's education, relevant work experience, knowledge, applicable and relevant skills and abilities, market demand, Company budget, as well as internal equity and alignment with geographic market data. Living Spaces reserves the right to modify this page at any time.\nCompensation: $65,000.00 - $86,800.00Overtime pay is available for eligible, non-exempt Team Members. Reimbursement for expenses as required by applicable law and Company policy.
