Will lead the team to operate efficiently and will facility the daily work of the department.Position Description \nEssential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.\nManages the performance reporting of the distribution center department including establishing and tracking key performance indicators (KPI’s)\n\nWorks with department managers to establish the daily and weekly goals and objectives and ensures proper execution of tasks.\n\nManage the day to day activity within department, including planning, flow, and resource prioritization\n\nCreate alignment on assigned process improvement across all shifts and departments related to safety, quality, and delivery goals\n\nEstablish business relationships with key partners, i.e. peers, leadership, Human Resources, Asset Protection, Inventory Control, and Transportation\n\nEnsure operations are conducted in compliance with OSHA standards\n\nEnsure proper training, development and motivation of team members to maximize current and future production performance while following standard operating procedures (SOP’s)\n\nAssist team members with making improvements to their performance through coaching and mentoring\n\nRecommend and implement improvements to the functional area through use of Continuous Improvement tools\n\nCreate a culture of safety and teamwork in the department\n\nMeet company standards for productivity\n\nMaintain a clean work area free from debris on the warehouse floor\n\nQualifications \nEducation/Experience: High School Diploma or GED equivalent is required. 3 plus years of experience in a warehouse supervisor or distribution center role. Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.\nComputer Skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be proficient with Microsoft Office programs such as Office 365 and Word. Must have working knowledge of Warehouse Management System (WMS). Knowledge of AX system is a plus.\nCertificates and Licenses: No certifications needed\nSupervisory Responsibilities: This position will directly manage a team within the Distribution Center. Develop and execute the company’s business strategies in order to attain the goals of the board and shareholders. Provide strategic advice so direct reports will have accurate view of the market and the company’s future. Prepare and implement comprehensive business plans to facilitate. Ensure company policies and legal guidelines are communicated all the way from the top down in the company and that they are followed at all times. Communicate and maintain trust relationships with shareholders, business partners, and authorities. Able to delegate responsibilities and supervise the work of direct reports providing guidance and motivation to drive maximum performance.\nPosition Hiring Range\nThe hiring pay range provides a good faith estimate of the salary or hourly wage that Living Spaces expects to pay for the position upon hire. Pay will be determined by several factors, including, but not limited to: applicant's education, relevant work experience, knowledge, applicable and relevant skills and abilities, market demand, Company budget, as well as internal equity and alignment with geographic market data. Living Spaces reserves the right to modify this page at any time.\nCompensation: $52,000.00 - $69,400.00Overtime pay is available for eligible, non-exempt Team Members. Reimbursement for expenses as required by applicable law and Company policy.
