Apply now and take the first step toward a rewarding career!\nResponsible for performing day-to-day activities of the Processing Department following current federal, state/provincial, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations governing this facility, and as may be directed by the Production Manager to assure that the automobiles are dismantled in a safe, efficient, and proper manner.Essential Job Duties\nAssist Dismantler/Trainer with dismantling vehicles.\nLearn and complete the system of dismantling, tagging and storing of all parts.\nWork with Engine Dismantlers as needed to learn engine dismantling.\nComply with all safety standards and requirements to ensure a safe and hazard-free workplace.\nAssume other duties as assigned.\nSupervisory Responsibilities\nNot responsible for supervising employees.\nMinimum Requirements\nEducation & Experience\nBackground in either body repair, mechanical, or previous dismantling experience.\nMay be required to have own set of tools as needed to carry out duties.\nPreferredRequirements\nHigh School Diploma/GED\nKnowledge/Skills/Abilities\nAbility to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.\nBasic computer skills.\nBasic messages communicated orally. May write brief messages and keep simple records.\nProblems encountered are routine, somewhat repetitive and generally solved by following clear directions and procedures.\nFollows standard procedures with no decision-making involved.\nUses guidance/guidelines provided by supervisor/manager.\nAssignments/priorities provide by supervisor/manager.\nEssential Physical Demands/Work Environment\nWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, push, pull, squat, bend, reach, climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or sit for extended periods.\nThe employee may be exposed to hazardous situations, conditions, and equipment. Must be able to work in cramped spaces or underneath vehicles that may require getting into awkward positions. May regularly wear personal protective equipment (PPE).
