Essential Job Duties\nProvide relevant information on warranties, price, quality of parts, delivery times, and payment methods.\nComplete internal documents supporting any transaction (credits, invoices, work order and/or interchange and returns, etc.).\nProspect and develop relationships with potential customers to cultivate new business.\nInform customer of unit prices, shipping date, anticipated delays, and any additional information needed by customer.\nAdvise customers on substitution or modification of part when part requested is not available.\nProcess orders - perform order entry, review orders for correct handling, pricing, quantities, and shipping data (may dispatch orders in some locations).\nFollow-up with customers as needed.\nAssume other duties as assigned.\nSupervisory Responsibilities\nNot responsible for supervising employees.\nMinimum Requirements\nEducation & Experience\nHigh School Diploma/GED\n1+ years of related experience required\n\nPreferred Requirements\nCollege coursework or degree.\nPrior automotive experience and knowledge of automotive parts.\nBilingual English/Spanish.\nKnowledge/Skills/Abilities\n\nAbility to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rates, ratios, and percentages and to draw and interpret graphs.\nBasic computer skills.\nBasic messages communicated orally. May write brief messages and keep simple records. May expain and offer guidance on routine procedures.\nProblems encountered are routine, somewhat repetitive and generally solved by following clear directions and procedures.\nDecisions generally affect own job or assigned functional area.\nResults are defined; sets personal own goals and determines how to achieve results with few or no guidelines to follow; supervisor/manager provides broad guidance and overall direction.\nPrioritize assigned and routine tasks.
