Apply now and take the first step toward a rewarding career!\nClean, inspect, and prepare safely LKQ products for shipment and delivery of high-quality parts to our customers.Essential Job Duties\nClean parts - buffing small parts, power washing drive train, cleaning panels with soap and water.|Inspect parts - matching description and quality to how it was inventoried.\nCommunicate with sales reps - Using email and/or phone to describe any discrepancies in quality or inventory of the part.\nPrepare for shipment - protect all small parts with bubble wrap and place them in a cardboard box, wrap bumpers with a protective cover, and place doors in racks divided by foam pads.\nLoad semi-trailers going to other LKQ facilities - prepare racks with panels and small parts to be loaded on semi-trailers via a fork truck.\nAssume other duties as assigned.\nSupervisory Responsibilities\nNot responsible for supervising employees.\nBasic Qualifications\nEducation & Experience\nHigh School Diploma or GED equivalent.\nPreferredQualifications\nForklift experience.\nKnowledge/Skills/Abilities\nBasic computer skills. \nAble to identify most car parts.\nEssential Physical Demands/Work Environment\nWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, push, pull, squat, bend, reach, climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or sit for extended periods. \nThe employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds. On occasions, an employee may be asked to lift and/or move up to 100 pounds. \nThe employee may be exposed to hazardous situations, conditions, and equipment. Must be able to work in cramped spaces or underneath vehicles that may require getting into awkward positions. May regularly wear personal protective equipment (PPE).
