Apply now and take the first step toward a rewarding career!\nResponsible for analysis and review in the monthly accounting close process and the timely and accurate preparation of financial statements.Essential Job Duties\nLead general accounting activities, including the preparation, maintenance and reconciliation of ledger accounts and financial statements.\nPrepare, record, analyze, and report accounting transactions and ensuring the integrity of accounting records for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with accepted accounting policies and principles.\nConduct recurring and month-end accounting functions directed toward the processing of transactions.\nEstablish, maintain, and coordinate the implementation of accounting and accounting control procedures.\nControl/reconciliation of accounts and records (balance sheet, P&L, bank accounts, etc.).\nProvide financial support and analyze variations from the budget.\nLead accounting reports/schedules for internal audiences (management reporting) and/or for external audiences (compliance reporting) including consolidation of financial statements.\nProvide ongoing support for the development of annual operating budgets.\nConduct internal and external training.\nConduct or assist in the documentation of accounting projects.\nMay review balance sheet reconciliations.\nKeep apprised of new accounting trends.\nInitiate and support continual process improvements and coordinate process improvement projects.\nFor Corporate Accounting, perform analysis and record journal entries for global accounting purposes, including accruals, debt, interest, corporate compensation calculations, Board of Directors compensation, equity, treasury stock, and dividends.\nMay prepare basic and diluted share count files and support administration of the equity system.\nMay prepare external disclosures (10-Q/10-K), support SEC filing processes, and drafting of Proxy statements.\nAssumes other duties as assigned.\nSupervisory Responsibilities\nNot responsible for supervising employees.\nMinimum Requirements\nEducation & Experience\nBachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience.\n5+ years of related experience required; Fully competent professional; In-depth knowledge and experience.\nConducts complex, critical tasks under minimal supervision and with wide latitude for independent judgment\nPreferred Requirements\nCPA certification.\nExperience in a corporate accounting environment.\nExperience with equity compensation and pension accounting.\nExperience equity compensation management system.\nKnowledge/Skills/Abilities\nAbility to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rates, ratios, and percentages and to draw and interpret graphs.\nFrequent use of Outlook, Word, Excel, graphics, etc. Ability to create, maintain, and incorporate functions into Word documents, Excel spreadsheets, databases, and PowerPoint presentations to support business objectives.\nRegularly uses moderately complex oral and written skills.
