Apply now and take the first step toward a rewarding career!\nResponsible for operating a Company vehicle to deliver products to customers and performing warehouse activities including parts pulling, staging, and loading/stocking of trucks.Pay Rate $18.00 an hour\nEssential Job Duties\nReceives labels from the supervisor for parts (may include PBE product) to be pulled for the assigned route.\nPulls parts and/or PBE products from the appropriate bins and delivers them to the staging area for loading.\nOperates a forklift or order selector to transport parts in and about the warehouse.\nLoads truck or company vehicle according to the delivery schedule and performs a final check-off of parts loaded.\nSorts and places parts and supplies on racks, shelves or in bins according to predetermined sequence.\nRespond to customer counter sales immediately by receiving orders, pulling products and loading them into the customer vehicle.\nVerifies in-stock position on product for inside sales staff.\nDrives a company box truck or company vehicle to deliver salvage parts and/or PBE products to customer locations.\nPhysically loads truck or company vehicle at the branch and verifies the condition of the truck or company vehicle, manifest and other paperwork associated with deliveries to be made.\nDrives to the delivery destination and physically unloads truck or company vehicle and verifies parts unloaded. Picks up returned parts and/or PBE products and collects customer payments as necessary.\nAssume other duties as assigned.\nSupervisory Responsibilities\nNot responsible for supervising employees.\nBasic Qualifications\nEducation & Experience\n6+ months of related warehouse experience.\nPossess a valid driver’s license and safe driving record.\nMust qualify for Corporate insurance programs, including vehicle insurance.\nMust meet Department of Transportation (DOT) testing and physical requirements and be knowledgeable of DOT regulations.\nMust be at least 21 years of age.\nMust comply with state and local mandated requirements as well as Department of Transportation (“DOT”) and Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (“FMCSA”) regulations.\nPreferred Qualifications\nHigh school graduate or GED equivalent.\n Forklift certification/experience and knowledge of RF scanners are helpful.\nKnowledge/Skills/Abilities\nAbility to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.\nBasic computer skills.\nRegularly uses moderately complex oral and written skills. May train others in functional areas, interact with others and make presentations to department or middle management.\nProblems encountered are routine, somewhat repetitive and generally solved by following clear directions and procedures.\nDecisions generally affect one’s own job or assigned functional area.\nResults are defined and existing practices are used as guidelines for how to complete work activities; works closely with supervisor/manager who provides broad guidance and overall direction.\nAssignments/priorities provided by supervisor/manager.\nEssential Physical Demands/Work Environment\nWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to drive a vehicle most of the time.\nMust be able to sit and drive for extended periods (up to 12 hours at a time); use hands to operate machinery.\nMay need to stand, walk, push, pull, squat, bend, reach, climb stairs; balance; stoop, kneel, or crouch for extended periods.\nThe employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds.\nFrequent exposure to contaminants such as fuel or exhaust.
