As an intern, the individual will spend time in the Expeditor, Assistant Project Manager, and Assistant Construction Superintendent roles to gain exposure to cost estimating, planning and scheduling, materials procurement, cost control, time and quality management.\nESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES\nWork with and support the Project Managers and Construction Superintendents as required\nAssist in the servicing of equipment and tools\nKeeping the construction sites clean, inside and outside\nSupport the coordination and implementation of project site construction, organization, and safety standard\nAttend and participate in weekly construction meetings at project site locations\nEnsure compliance with company, industry, trade, and OSHA safety standards, practices, and codes\nOrganize, track, and maintain project related files, drawings, materials, and correspondence\nDeliver accurate and timely project status updates throughout all project phases\nRegularly provide project reports, documentation, technical assistance, support, and collaboration\nTrack project expenditures and cost accounting, including accuracy, approvals, and payment reporting\nMust be fluent with all Microsoft Office Products \nPerform other duties as assigned\nSUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES\nNo direct supervisory responsibilities.\nJOB REQUIREMENTS\nDocumentation Management\nProject Correspondence\nMaterial and Production Tracking\nAbility to Multi-Task\nAbility to Perform Tasks Independently\nExcellent Organizational Skills\nExcellent Computer Skills\nRegular and Consistent Attendance\nEDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE\nHigh school diploma and enrolled in technical school; significant general construction and carpentry experience preferred.\nAND/OR\nOne year certificate from college or technical school; or 6-12 months related experience/training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.\nCOMPANY VALUES\nDo the Right Thing.
