Hybrid Working, Job Share

Job Description Summary

What if AI could help a bank deliver change in months instead of years?

We're looking for a strategic leader to help reshape how lending is delivered across Business & Commercial Banking. As Lead Integrator, AI Transformation, you'll sit at the intersection of business, product and technology, identifying how AI can accelerate delivery, simplify complexity and create better outcomes for customers, colleagues and the business.

Job Description

Job title: Lead Integrator, AI Transformation

Location: London

Salary: Competitive - will be discussed at interview stage

Hours: Full time (35 hours per week)

Working Pattern: Our work style is hybrid, which involves spending at least two days per week, or 40% of our time, at one of our office sites.

About this opportunity:

As Lead Integrator, AI Transformation, you'll play a pivotal role in one of the most strategically important transformations within Business & Commercial Banking. We're reshaping how we deliver lending for our Business Banking and SME customers, improving speed, transparency and reliability across the end-to-end lending journey.

Our ambition is to delight both customers and colleagues by designing and building friction-free experiences, removing unnecessary complexity and using AI-powered capabilities to accelerate delivery, improve productivity and create better outcomes. We're creating a modern, digital-first lending experience while supporting the Group's growth ambitions through scalable technology, simplified operating models and intelligent automation.

In this role, you'll operate at the intersection of business, product and technology. You'll coordinate complex, cross-platform transformation, bringing together priorities, backlogs, dependencies and delivery teams to accelerate outcomes. Working across multiple platforms and partner groups, you'll help develop how AI capabilities are embedded into customer journeys and how AI-enabled ways of working transform the way products and services are delivered across the organisation.

This is a highly visible leadership role requiring strong commercial thinking, a product approach and the ability to translate strategic priorities into measurable customer, colleague and business value.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Lead the integration and execution of AI-enabled transformation initiatives across lending journeys, translating strategic priorities into coordinated delivery outcomes.

  • Shape and drive the adoption of AI-enabled capabilities, ensuring they create measurable value for customers, colleagues and the business.

  • Coordinate work across multiple platforms and teams, connecting backlogs, dependencies and priorities to accelerate the delivery of high-value customer and business outcomes.

  • Partner with Product Owners, Engineering Leads, Architects and business collaborators to identify, prioritise and deliver AI opportunities across customer and colleague journeys.

  • Bring a strong product approach, challenging priorities, asking the right questions and ensuring investment decisions remain focused on measurable commercial, customer and operational outcomes.

  • Lead experimentation, proofs of concept and pilot initiatives to validate emerging AI opportunities and accelerate adoption across product and technology teams.

  • Find opportunities to use AI, automation and emerging technologies to improve software delivery, simplify operating models and accelerate the path from idea to production.

  • Influence senior leaders across Business & Commercial Banking, Technology, Risk and Operations, bringing clarity to complexity and driving alignment around strategic transformation priorities.

Why Lloyds Banking Group?

If you think all banks are the same, you’d be wrong. We’re an innovative, fast-changing business that’s shaping finance as a force for good. A bank that’s empowering its people to innovate, explore possibilities and grow with purpose.

What you’ll need:

  • Proven experience leading complex business and technology transformation within financial services, fintech, technology or other large-scale digital organisations.

  • Experience applying AI, automation or emerging technologies to improve delivery effectiveness, customer journeys, operating models or organisational productivity.

  • A strong product approach, with experience translating business strategy into prioritised outcomes and delivered value.

  • Experience coordinating complex cross-functional delivery across business, product and engineering teams, bringing together multiple workstreams, priorities and dependencies.

  • The ability to operate confidently across business, product and technology domains, building credibility and alignment with a diverse range of colleagues.

  • Exceptional influencing and collaborator management skills, with experience communicating complex challenges, trade-offs and opportunities to senior leaders.

  • Strong problem-solving capability, with the ability to bring structure to ambiguity, remove blockers and accelerate delivery outcomes.

It would also be useful if you had...

  • Experience of credit, lending or banking customer journeys, including an understanding of operational, risk and regulatory considerations.

  • Strong storytelling skills, with the ability to translate complex technology and transformation initiatives into compelling customer, commercial and business outcomes.

  • Experience working within product-led or team-of-teams operating models, driving collaboration across multiple platforms and delivery teams.

  • Experience supporting discovery, experimentation, innovation or product strategy activities that help shape future customer experiences.

  • Knowledge of modern software development practices, engineering operating models, AI agents, automation technologies or emerging digital capabilities.
