Colleagues with disabilities can be supported with workplace adjustments including hybrid working expectations in line with our Flexibility Works policy.\nWhat You’ll Be Doing\nWe’re looking for a Senior Manager to lead our Power Platform and Robotics capability, bringing together low-code application development, workflow automation, Copilot Studio and robotic process automation using Blue Prism. You’ll set the direction for the capability, shaping the strategy, roadmap and delivery of a secure, resilient and value-led automation portfolio aligned to business priorities and our wider technology strategy.\nYou’ll lead a multidisciplinary team across Power Platform and Blue Prism, delivering scalable automation solutions that create measurable value for our customers, colleagues and business.\nKey Accountabilities:\nSet the strategy, roadmap and operating model for Power Platform and Robotics, aligning investment and delivery priorities to business needs and measurable outcomes.\nLead and develop a multidisciplinary team across Power Apps, Power Automate, Copilot Studio and Blue Prism, building technical capability, succession and a high-performing, inclusive culture.\nOwn the automation portfolio, balancing demand, capacity, risk, dependencies and expected value to set clear delivery priorities.\nProvide senior technical and design leadership, ensuring solutions are scalable, accessible, secure, resilient and aligned to enterprise architecture and engineering standards.\nOversee the end-to-end automation lifecycle, from discovery and process assessment through design, build and testing to release, live service and continuous improvement.\nEnsure effective operation of the Blue Prism digital workforce, including production scheduling, resilience, exception management, monitoring and service performance.\nOwn governance and controls across Power Platform, AI-enabled automation and RPA, covering technology risk, security, data, operational resilience and Responsible AI.\nBuild trusted senior relationships across business and technology, translating complex requirements into clear options, priorities and decisions.\nDrive engineering quality and reuse through common standards, patterns and components, with effective environment and release management.\nShape and manage the future capability, overseeing key platform and supplier relationships, contributing to licence, commercial, budget and resource decisions, and advancing low-code, AI and intelligent automation.\nWhat We’re Looking For\nSignificant experience leading technology, automation or digital delivery teams in a complex enterprise or regulated environment, including leadership of managers and technical specialists.\nStrong Microsoft Power Platform experience, including Power Apps and Power Automate, with a track record of delivering low-code, workflow automation or application portfolios.\nStrong practical understanding of RPA and digital workforce operations, ideally using Blue Prism, including development standards, scheduling, queues, exception management and production support.\nProven ability to turn business strategy and operational challenges into prioritised roadmaps, solution options and clear business outcomes.\nAbility to govern solutions across the end-to-end lifecycle, from design and build through testing, implementation and live service, with a strong understanding of change, release and service management.\nStrong understanding of technology risk and controls, including information security, data, operational resilience, auditability and Responsible AI.\nExcellent influencing and communication skills at senior levels, with the ability to explain complex technical and risk considerations clearly and constructively challenge decisions.\nStrong commercial and financial awareness, with experience of areas such as budgets, licences, suppliers, delivery capacity or investment cases.\nAny experience of these would be great\nLeading a Centre of Excellence, platform team, automation hub or federated delivery model.\nIntegrating Power Platform and RPA with APIs, data services, AI or legacy applications to deliver automation solutions.\nEstablishing reusable components, automation standards or environment strategies across a low-code or automation estate.\nExperience of Copilot Studio or broader AI-enabled automation.\nThis Is A Place For You\nOur ambition is to be the leading UK business for diversity, equity and inclusion supporting our customers, colleagues and communities and we’re committed to creating an environment in which everyone can thrive, learn and develop.
