Qualified individuals will have the opportunity to join our employee friendly corporate culture.\nWhat You’ll Do:\nPrepare, review and submit simple to complex tax returns for various clients.\nHandle communication from clients and tax authorities. Advise clients on tax strategies.\nAudit all tax forms for completeness and accuracy.\nProvide future tax planning to clients.\nAnalyze tax data submitted by the client to maximize the outcome for the client.\nResearch new tax trends and regulations.\nEnsure compliance with government tax rules.\nTrain and mentor tax staff; Support the growth and development of team members.\nManage multiple assignments inside an engagement.\nCommunicate with Managers and Partner on work status and client issues that arise.\nQualifications:\n5-7 years’ experience as a Tax Preparer or a similar role.\nBachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related discipline, Masters in Taxation preferred.\nCPA preferred.\nKnowledge of tax preparation software. Knowledge of CCH ProSystem or Axcess and Document a plus.\nAdvanced MS Office skills (particularly in using Excel).\nComprehensive understanding of government tax laws.\nEffective verbal and written communication skills.\nSolid analytical, mathematical, and research skills.\nTime management and ability to meet deadlines.\nStrong organizational skills and ability to multitask.\nProven ability to handle confidential information with discretion.\nAvailable to work additional hours when necessary during tax season.\nThe above is intended to describe the general content of and requirements for the performance of this job.
