He/she will be responsible for monitoring, tracking, and managing inventory levels, ensuring that all products and materials are accounted for and readily available. Your attention to detail and organizational skills will contribute to the smooth operation of our supply chain and help optimize inventory management processes.\n\nResponsibilities include, but are not limited to:\nInventory Management:\nMaintain accurate records of all incoming and outgoing inventory items.\nConduct regular physical counts of products and materials to reconcile inventory levels.\nIdentify discrepancies or issues in inventory data and work towards resolving them promptly.\nEnsure proper storage and organization of inventory to facilitate easy retrieval.\nReceiving and Shipping:\nAssist in receiving shipments and verifying the accuracy of delivered goods.\nCollaborate with management/maintenance team to coordinate the movement of inventory as required.\nData Entry and Documentation:\nEnter inventory data into excel and maintain digital records with precision.\nUpdate inventory-related information, such as stock levels and product descriptions, as needed.\nGenerate regular reports on inventory status, trends, and discrepancies.\nQuality Control:\nPerform quality checks on incoming and outgoing inventory items to ensure they meet company standards.\nReport any damaged or defective items and take appropriate actions to address the issues.\nMonitor slow-moving or obsolete items and recommend actions, such as liquidation or reordering.\nCompliance and Safety:\nAdhere to company policies and procedures related to inventory management.\nFollow safety guidelines and protocols while handling inventory items.\nTeam Collaboration:\nWork closely with other team members to ensure smooth inventory operations.\n\nMinimum Education Requirements:\nHigh school diploma or equivalent preferred or a combination of work experience\nAdditional education in inventory management or related field is a plus.\n\nMinimum Years of Experience Required:\n2+ plus years working in a similar role\nAdditional Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:\nProficient computer skills, Microsoft Excel\nStrong mathematical skills to accurately calculate inventory counts and related calculations.\nExcellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.\nEffective communication skills to work collaboratively with other team members.\nAbility to lift and move moderate to heavy objects, as required during inventory counts and handling. \n\nCompetencies/Essential Job Functions:\nThis position consists mainly of light physical work. The position may require exertion of up to 50 pounds of force occasionally to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body.
