Headquartered in Tysons, Virginia, LMI is committed to delivering impactful results that strengthen missions and drive lasting value.\nResponsibilities\nAccounts Payable Activities\nThis individual will be responsible for processing travel vouchers and expense reimbursements. They will be responsible for employee service responses for any expense related requests including questions surrounding submission and payment status.\nReview and approve travel expenses against LMI policy requirements and restrictions. \nVerify and prepare for entry into the Accounts Payable and Purchase Order applications module: vendor invoices, travel vouchers, employee reimbursements, and other requests for payment which are substantiated by purchase orders, receiving reports, or other miscellaneous expense documents in accordance with company accounting policies and procedures.\nDetermine and assign proper general ledger and project number codes to all invoices and other requests for payment.\nEnter accounts payable data into automated module within required time frame for scheduled payments.\nTest Costpoint system changes and report related findings. \nSuggest process improvements and support improvement initiatives\nRotate in the Tuesday EFT check run\nRecords Management\nMaintain control of current accounting files, records, and archives using both physical and data imaging process.\nPeriodic review of documents to management to ensure proper filing and adequacy of data backup\nQualifications\nDegree in accounting, finance, business, or related field strongly preferred. Significant equivalent experience, in lieu of degree, may be considered when applicable.\n3+ years of progressively responsible work experience in a business environment is desired.\n3+ years in Accounts Payable desired\nStrong computer skills required, as well as ability to work with spread sheet software required\nExperience with DELTEK Costpoint required and Time and Expense preferred\nExperience in government contracting accounting required\nMust be knowledgeable of the FAR & JTR regulations\nStrong problem solving and analytical skills essential\nExcellent command of English grammar with strong verbal and written communication skills required\nAbility to compose, edit and proofread business correspondence\nMust have strong time management and planning skills and be able to coordinate and prioritize multiple projects and assignments with little supervision\nMust maintain attentional to detail in a high volume, fast paced environment\nStrong interpersonal and listening skills\nAbility to work and communicate in a professional manner and with a professional demeanor essential\nAble to adapt to changing work efforts and manage impact of shifting priorities\nAble to work effectively in a deadline-oriented environment essential\nAble to contribute to a professional work environment by demonstrating integrity, promoting teamwork, and fostering positive communication\nAble to maintain familiarity with current LMI policies and procedures\nAble to maintain absolute confidentiality in all business matters\nMust be capable of maintaining regular attendance\nTarget salary range: $40,000-$65,000\n Disclaimer:The salary range displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is not a guarantee of compensation.
