Our Maintenance Mechanic’s apply methods, best practices, and procedures in preventative maintenance, inspection, diagnostics and repair, of buildings, utilities, equipment and machinery.\nESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES\nTroubleshoot, diagnose, repair, install, and maintain production equipment, machinery, forklifts, power tools, and other facility equipment, with a strong emphasis on 480V 3-phase electrical systems, motor controls, VFDs, PLC-controlled equipment, and 24VDC control circuits.\nPerform advanced electrical troubleshooting to identify and resolve equipment failures involving power distribution, control panels, relays, sensors, contactors, safety circuits, and industrial automation systems.\nRead and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, mechanical drawings, and technical manuals to effectively diagnose and repair equipment.\nFabricate, modify, and repair machine components, guards, brackets, fixtures, and tooling using shop equipment and standard fabrication techniques.\nSet up and operate manual milling machines, engine lathes, drill presses, grinders, and othermachine shop equipment to manufacture and repair precision parts as required.\nPerform welding, cutting, machining, and fabrication work to support equipment repairs, improvements, and continuous improvement initiatives.\nConduct preventive maintenance, inspections, and corrective repairs on production equipment and facility systems to maximize equipment reliability and uptime.\nPerform building and facility maintenance, repairs, and improvements, including electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and compressed air systems.\nComplete all required maintenance documentation, work orders, PM records, and repair reports accurately and in a timely manner.\nSafely operate forklifts, aerial lifts, and other material handling equipment as required.\nInstall, modify, maintain, and repair all production equipment and machinery, forklifts, power tools and other Sonaca North America equipment.\nPerform building and facility maintenance, repairs and improvements.
