Duties will include:\nDeveloping project sustainment tasks related to the F/A-18 aircraft by reviewing sponsor project proposals and plans and conferring with management to align on deliverables.\nDetermining project responsibilities by identifying project phases and elements and assigning personnel accordingly.\nAnalyzing and establishing project specifications by studying product design, customer requirements, and performance standards.\nDesigning and conducting technical studies and tests to confirm product performance and sustainment viability.\nCreating and managing detailed project schedules by calculating time requirements and sequencing project elements.\nMonitoring and coordinating ongoing project activities, identifying, and resolving issues to maintain project timelines.\nControlling project plans through continuous review of designs, specifications, and schedule changes while recommending necessary actions to management.\nPreparing comprehensive project status reports, analyzing trends, and providing strategic recommendations.\nResponsible for planning and execution of engineering development efforts for a cross functional engineering and logistics team.\nResponsible for overseeing and managing complex engineering projects from conception to completion.\nProviding a blend of strong engineering expertise and proven project management skills to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.\nServe as a key liaison for the FST lead and various stakeholders, including clients, engineering teams, and other departments, fostering effective communication and collaboration throughout the project lifecycle.\nDeveloping and maintaining project plans, staffing plans, and related planning documents to support FST tasking\nDesired Experience: Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines. Degree in an engineering field is strongly preferred.\nCurrent Secret clearance is required.\nNo per diem. Work location at NAS North Island, CA area. Start date is ASAP.\nMinimum Experience Requirements:\nHas over three (3) to 10 years of experience in Engineering and Logistics program/project management.\nMinimum Education Requirements:\nBS or BA degree in Business Administration or a \"Relevant Technical Discipline\".\nMinimum Physical Requirements:\nMust be able to sit and stand for extended periods, in an office environment.\nBase Salary Range: $55.00-$65.00 per hour\nThis base pay range is specific to residents of California, Colorado, Connecticut, New Jersey, New York, Nevada, Ohio, Rhode Island, and Washington, and any other state that may require such disclosure.
