Our Quality Inspectors inspect products and/or documents at various stages of production, to validate processes and provide documentation required to show compliance to the Sonaca North America Quality System, while under close supervision. Also, read and interpret customer instructions, blueprints, charts and other statistical information; prepare parts and documentation for outside criteria; and participate in work center and other problem-solving teams as requested.\nESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES\nInspectors assist production personnel in establishing and documenting inspection criteria, prepare parts and documentation to meet outside criteria, completes all required inspection documentation and communicates as needed with customers.\n\nEntering data into the Work Order Tracking System, including notes and recording data on the work order.\n\nDocumenting Nonconforming Material per the Quality System Requirements.\n\nAssists in identifying parts deficiencies and helps to prevent further recurrences.\n\nDetermining whether the product is acceptable or unacceptable according to work order and customer requirements.\n\nResponsibly handle “stop the job” authority at any stage of process.\n\nPerform sampling inspection.\n\nPerform Adhesion Testing requirements.\n\nMaintain good housekeeping in the inspection areas.\n\nHandle customer-supplied product with care.\n\nProperly use calibrated thickness masters, shims, certified master materials samples, etc.\n\nVerify the job, matching the actual parts with the work order, part number(s), printed and/or electronic pictures and part count.\n\nMaintain Sonaca North America’s quality standards to meet and exceed customer expectations.\n\nAccess all applicable Prime customer specification requirements on SharePoint site.\n\nManages time effectively so that production, quality and delivery schedules are met.\n\nInteracts professionally with co-workers and vendors, understands internal customers, and strives to maintain good relations with others.\n\nFollow all safety requirements and enforce compliance.\n\nWork overtime, when required (including weekends), on short notice.\n\nPerform other duties as assigned by the Inspection Lead.\n\nResponds quickly to inquiries and follows up, as needed.\n\nEmbraces change to ensure overall success of the company.\n\nEDUCATION AND EXPERIENCES\nHigh school diploma or high school equivalency preferred.
