Headquartered in Tysons, Virginia, LMI is committed to delivering impactful results that strengthen missions and drive lasting value.\nResponsibilities\nProvide subject matter expertise for facility engineering and project management initiatives for HQDA G-4 staff.\nPlan, design, and oversee construction, renovation, and maintenance of Army facilities, ensuring compliance with Federal, DoW, and Army regulations, codes, and standards.\nManage multiple, concurrent engineering projects through all phases: requirements development, budgeting, design, acquisition, construction, commissioning, and closeout.\nCoordinate with stakeholders including military leadership, installation directorates, contractors, and other government agencies to identify infrastructure needs and develop solutions.\nConduct site assessments and feasibility studies to determine project scope, risks, and mitigation measures.\nPrepare, review, and validate engineering plans, specifications, cost estimates, and technical reports.\nMonitor contractor performance for compliance with contract requirements, quality standards, schedules, and safety protocols.\nEnsure sustainability, energy efficiency, and resilience objectives are integrated into facility planning and execution.\nProvide technical guidance for emergency repairs, modernization, and upgrades to critical facility systems.\nSupport planning and programming of Military Construction (MILCON) and Operations/Maintenance (O&M) funding actions.\nPrepare and present briefings, status reports, and recommendations to senior Army leadership as required.\nQualifications\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor’s degree in engineering (civil, mechanical, electrical, architectural, or related discipline) from an ABET-accredited program.\nAt least five years of experience in facility engineering, project management, or construction management.\nKnowledge of Federal, DoW, and Army facility engineering standards, regulations, and project delivery processes.\nWorking familiarity with engineering software, project management tools (e.g., MS Project), and AutoCAD or similar design platforms.\nMust have a Secret security clearance.\nStrong written and verbal communication skills.\nDesired Qualifications\nMaster’s degree in engineering, construction management, or related field.\nProfessional Engineer (PE) license.\nExperience with Army-specific planning and programming tools (e.g., DD1391, BUILDER SMS).\nExperience managing large-scale, multi-phase military construction or facility modernization projects.\nFamiliarity with energy, sustainability, and resilience programs in military facilities.\nExperience as a COR (Contracting Officer’s Representative) or with federal acquisition processes.\nPrior experience working in a headquarters (HQDA, MACOM, or equivalent) environment.\nExperience supporting contingency engineering or installation support during emergencies\nTarget salary range: $90,000 - $120,000.\nFinal compensation will be determined by a variety of factors including but not limited to your skills, experience, education, and/or certifications.
