Headquartered in Tysons, Virginia, LMI is committed to delivering impactful results that strengthen missions and drive lasting value.\nResponsibilities\nDesign, develop, test, deploy, and maintain secure web applications supporting USAF mission requirements.\nDevelop responsive and intuitive user interfaces using modern JavaScript frameworks such as React and TypeScript.\nDesign and implement backend services, RESTful APIs, and application integrations.\nDevelop and maintain data models and integrations with relational and nonrelational databases.\nBuild and deploy applications and services within AWS and AWS GovCloud environments.\nIntegrate applications with cloud services, enterprise data platforms, authentication services, and external APIs.\nWrite clean, maintainable, well tested code and participate in peer code reviews.\nTroubleshoot application, integration, performance, and production issues across the technology stack.\nApply modern DevSecOps practices, including automated testing, CI/CD, source control, and secure software development.\nCollaborate with product owners, designers, engineers, architects, and customer stakeholders to translate mission needs into technical solutions.\nContribute to technical design and architecture decisions related to APIs, application components, data models, and cloud services.\nSupport iterative Agile development and deliver working software in short development cycles.\nEvaluate emerging technologies and recommend opportunities to improve application performance, scalability, security, and user experience.\nQualifications\nRequired:\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent relevant experience.\n5 or more years of professional software development experience.\nExperience with modeling and simulation platforms.\nDemonstrated experience developing full stack web applications in production environments.\nExperience with modern frontend technologies such as React, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.\nExperience developing backend applications or services using technologies such as Node.js, Python, Java, C#, or .NET.\nExperience designing, building, and consuming RESTful APIs.\nExperience with relational databases and SQL.\nHands on experience developing or deploying applications within AWS.\nExperience with Git based source control and modern software development workflows.\nExperience working within Agile software development teams.\nUnderstanding of software engineering fundamentals, including application architecture, testing, debugging, and secure coding practices.\nAbility to communicate effectively with technical teams, customers, and stakeholders.\nActive Secret security clearance.\nPreferred:\nExperience developing applications within AWS GovCloud or other secure government cloud environments.\nExperience with Docker, Kubernetes, or containerized application development.\nExperience with CI/CD platforms such as GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar technologies.\nExperience with AWS services such as Lambda, API Gateway, RDS, Aurora, S3, ECS, EKS, or Glue.\nFamiliarity with infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.\nExperience implementing authentication and authorization using technologies such as OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, or identity provider integrations.\nExperience supporting DoD, Intelligence Community, or other federal government customers.\nFamiliarity with federal security frameworks and standards, including NIST, RMF, FISMA, and DoD security requirements.\nExperience developing software for IL4, IL5, IL6, or similarly controlled environments.\nExperience integrating generative AI, large language models, or agentic AI capabilities into production applications.\nTarget salary range is $111,000 - 192,000\nDisclaimer: The salary range displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is not a guarantee of compensation.
